Lovely pub, good food. Only reason it's got 4 stars and not 5 is it's dog friendly which I know some people will like, I just prefer places that aren't, but it wouldn't put me off a future visit.

We were there for a friends birthday party and had a wonderful evening. The pub is warm and welcoming with a roaring fire in the log burner. The staff were extremely friendly and also welcoming. Just been to the old Glen for curry night and it was absolutely delicious. £12.95 for a 3 course meal,couldn't fault it.
Also having decent bottles of red wine is a massive bonus. Thank you Lou and Ed for being great host.
