My friends and I visited the Old Glen House the first night I arrived in Leeds (I live in the US). The steak and ale pie was amazing, as was the apple/rhubarb dessert!!! (Truly the best beef pie I've ever had). We then travelled all the way to the Scottish Highlands for a week, eating at pubs and restaurants along the way. Out of our entire trip, The Old Glen House was the best food and had our favorite employees. They made us feel welcome in their home. I highly recommend the pies as well as the chicken burgers (My friend said it was the best he's ever eaten). Go to the Old Glen House! And while you're there, stroll down to the Old Glen in the woods just behind it. It's beautiful.

Love a dog friendly pub and one that has a Pie Chart 🥧 - Genius!! Pie’s are award winning with beautifully cooked veg that you choose from!!!

Lovely pub, good food. Only reason it's got 4 stars and not 5 is it's dog friendly which I know some people will like, I just prefer places that aren't, but it wouldn't put me off a future visit.

Stopped for lunch on our walk from Ilkley to Saltaire. Dog friendly pub with excellent home cooked food - the pie was incredible.

Awesome pie and one of the tastiest portion of chips I've ever had. They even made Brussel sprouts taste great. Popular pub and I can see why!

Our local. We love it. Always a warm welcome and excellent service from the team. Great pints, super dog friendly (with beds and treats). Traditional interior with log burner, exposed beams, rustic furniture etc. The food is always well executed - nothing too fancy, just good honest pub food like game pie, steak and chips, bangers and mash. Highly recommended.

Food drink and ice cream here. All good and a place for a quick rest after Shipley glen walls , some portions of food surprisingly small for large price esp buttys

Well worth a visit after going up the hill by the Tram line. A selection of real ale's with a good beer garden. Yet to sample the food but heard it's good.

We were there for a friends birthday party and had a wonderful evening. The pub is warm and welcoming with a roaring fire in the log burner. The staff were extremely friendly and also welcoming. The buffet was plentiful and the food was good quality and quite varied. Thanks again to all at the Old Glen House for making us welcome.

Just been to the old Glen for curry night and it was absolutely delicious. £12.95 for a 3 course meal, couldn't fault it. Also having decent bottles of red wine is a massive bonus. Thank you Lou and Ed for being great host.

Came here Saturday for the first time. Nice little pub. Not much options on the menu and no light bites. Staff was lovely. Dogs aloud in . Would come back again
