We received a warm welcome from Lucy who directed us to our very clean and comfortable room. There was plenty of hot water, a chocolate topped the clean linen and towels. We booked for an evening meal following a very good selection of drinks in the bar. The menu was excellent and we would recommen

Utterly awesome visit; a great staff who knew their way around beer and are very funny and relaxed; awesome food (which helped as the beer was very good); wonderful atmosphere and was an allround great place to spend a few hours in.

Had a nice spacious, en-suite, room with a comfy bed. Very convenient location in the centre of Shipston-On-Stour. A nice cooked breakfast in the morning. Landlady very friendly and a credit to the business.
Everyone here was amazing. Nowhere near just 5 star, we were quite simply looked after fantastically well. Tables moved to better fit what was needed, polite, welcoming brilliant. However, there are 'only' 5 stars to give.

Staff were very nice, location is great and they have the football on. Pub has a good atmosphere and closes before midnight, so no loud noises keeping you awake. Breakfast was also very good (special mention to Angie).
Emma was a wonderful hostess. Couldn't do enough. Just the rooms need refreshing. The property is old. Rooms nice and bright but a little tired. A little noisy in the evenings but it's above a pub so to be expected. Food very good. Some of the best we had in the area. Good for a short overnight stop

We have a nervous dog with us, and the staff did all they could to help out and make her feel settled.
The staff and the atmosphere was amazing. They made you feel right at home! Food was very tasty too and the breakfast kept us full all day!
