The Lazy Pug - Shipston on Stour - Photo album

Great little friendly pub ,we had the dance room ,spotless .cosy , the breakfasts are lovely ,the mushrooms are to die for !!! , staff were very friendly , helpful & honest . Thank you for a really lovely stay Tess !
Stopped off here for something quick to eat after a walk. Had giant nachos and onion ring. Both very nice. A good range of drinks on offer, although not the cheapest.
Friendly staff who responded quickly during the booking process with any queries we had. Staff were very helpful when we arrived in terms of parking and booking us in. Room was clean and spacious. We also had dinner on the night we stayed which was served quickly and just what we wanted.
Came here for dinner - absolutely amazing. Food was faultless, staff were attentive, knowledgeable and very helpful. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area
Best pub food we have ever had. Fishcake and calamari were awesome. Everything was perfect. Will be back without fail.
Great staff , lovely people well looked after, great stay. Clean and functional rooms . Can't wait to return for more fun.
Discovered by accident but loved the food. The staff were really friendly and clued up about gluten free options and the menu was varied enough to suit all tastes.
Really cool place with a good vibe. Friendly staff and the food was delicious, especially the mac & cheese the best I’ve ever had. Dog friendly too, just wish the parking situation was a bit better but not much they can do about that. Would recommend!
The food here is quite possibly the best pub grub I've ever eaten, the staff were fantastically friendly and it's a lovely pub, some parking available here 😀
Service was great ,the burger laced seasoning but when we told the man behind the bar he actually gave us a discount on the bill The chips were the best I've had in years though 😄
Wonderful food and service. Never stayed here but can not fault anything else to do with the pub.
Friendly staff and decent choice of food for adults and children. Colouring books and pencils too to keep everyone amused! Parking a bit difficult.
Good pub. Quirky, full of character. The beer selection is probably the best in the town (Neck oil on draft etc). Have daily food deals which are great and the food itself is pretty good. Dog friendly too which is a massive plus. Always happy to open tabs for your drinks which I love. Only thing whi
Amazing little pub in the wonderful Cotswolds. Bed and breakfast with 5 very tasteful rooms upstairs. Food amazing!
We’ve been here for breakfast a few times now and every time it’s been brilliant. The quality and choice of food is fantastic, so delicious. The cost of the food and drinks is very reasonable and somewhat on the cheap side considering what you get. Great decor, lovely atmosphere and the staff are so
I've never been in The Pug since it had changed (quite a while back now). The staff were very friendly and helpful, and food/drinks were all good (and slightly cheaper than some other pubs in Shipston). The inside is nicely decorated, and it was a nice place to be.
Really lovely fish and chips. Unfortunately no deserts but great mains.
Delicious food at reasonable prices served by a very friendly team. The roast beef was unbelievably tender and all the sides cooked perfectly, and yet I still had food envy for the rest of the groups dishes. We’ll definitely be back!
