My second visit to this place a few days ago for my birthday dinner with family. Love the food, delicious meal! Freshly made! Good place for a date or family dinner for Japanese food.

Possibly my favourite Japanese restaurant in Birmingham. The interior is small but fits the ascetic well and is decorated beautifully. The food here is delicous and Ive never eaten anything bad in the many times Ive been here. The staff are hard working and helpful and the range of drinks available is great. Menu is reasonably priced, only minor downside is that they are cash only but there's cashpoints close to the restaurant. Highly recommend if you find yourself in or around the Shirley area
The service at this establishment was impressively fast, and it also came at a reasonable price point. Even though the place was not particularly crowded when we arrived, our orders arrived within mere minutes after we placed them. This promptness added to the overall positive experience. With a hearty thumbs up and my wholehearted recommendation, this place is certainly worth a visit.
Lovely place to eat. Went for a double date and the food you get for the price is brilliant. Good quality and great selection. It is however cash only so you need to bring some change with you.

Excellent food and service. Lovely little place with a wide selection of Japanese dishes. We took fired tofu as starter and then bentos.
I took the eel, my wife salmon, our friend chicken and my daughter, who isat is vegetarian, the tofu. They were all great and nice to see.
Be aware that payment is only cash but there is an HSBC 100 meters away.
On first impressions, the place is quite small. There are a couple floor tables, a group of western tables and a bar counter. The place can fill up quickly so I'd recommend to call ahead.
The service is very good and accommodating. The food came out at a reasonable time. The quality and quantity is very good for the price. It's excellent for small families.

Excellent food and really good value for money. The wait time was over 30 mins for food tonight but I'm not sure if they were just having an especially busy night. Pretty small seating space too so booking is essential.
This place is amazing! The food is excellent, quality, portions and price. The lady was so friendly. The decor was so pretty, loved the music. Can't say one bad thing about this place!
A hidden gem
What a fantastic place to live and experience the Japanese tradition. I liked the fact that this place is been run by personnel who follows the Japanese tradition in contact the rest of the more commercialised ones.

Been meaning to come here for a while. Always seen the reviews but haven't found time to come... Until today. Gotta say I like this place. It's small but not bad to sit in. Just book in advance just in case I'd say especially on a weekend.
The food was served nice and hot. Nice and spicy, but not too hot. Most of the positive reviews are based around the sushi. I tried the Nigiri and it was on point ππ½. I followed this up with a bento box ππ½ again, loved it. Will definitely recommend this place to all. Think on the next visit I'll go for a round of sushi π£
The sashimi is really fresh, made some very good nigiri too! I would recommend the yakiudon, which means stir fried udon with Japanese soy sauce.
The music used in the restaurant was some of the Japanese pop songs I used to listen all the time when I was in high school. Reminds me of some good old days back in Hong Kong.
It was all in all very nice experience having dinner here.

I lost my airpod case outside this shop, after spending up to an hour looking for them the kind staff member approached me outside and asked me if i lost an airpod case. To my amazement the staff member had it inside and i was so relieved. I promised i would order from him, thanked him while picking up a leaflet. Thank you so much ππ½ Arigatou βΊοΈ
Exceptional authentic japanese food. Lovely experience, food came out really quick, bit on the expensive side but worth it. The unagi (eel) and octopus balls were divine. Would definitely recommend. Recommend to book before hand as they only have 4 seating tables and 2 floor tables.
Absolutely magnificent, food was outstanding, service was great, and exceptionally reasonable. All in all we could not fault it in anyway.
