Harvester Monkspath - Shirley - Photo album

Great family meal! We booked a late lunch for on the way back, while out for the day at The Science Museum Think Tank. Conveniently located near the M42, it's also right next to a premier inn. I'm always passing by, but I haven't been here for ages! It's a one-way system, but it's easy to get to and
We were greeted by Lee who was very welcoming and cheerful. We were seated and then our waitress Liberty took over... This young lady was the pinnacle of how people in hospitality should be... There was 7 of us in our breakfast party all giving this lady requests and she took them in her stride. Sh
The starters and main meals except one were lovely, very tasty. Unfortunately, one of the meals was sent back due to a chicken breast not being cooked right. The rest of the mains were okay... The harvester restaurant itself is nice and clean inside. The biggest letdown is, unfortunately, the st
The building unfortunately is in great need of repair and painting. Inside its bright with pleasing lighting. Welcome staff member to my table, from which I had Sophie as my waiter. What a charming person, great smile, attention to detail, and kept in touch to make you feel comfortable. Very quiet b
We went for breakfast, and the food was tasty, hot, and reasonably priced. I marked down on atmosphere as there were only another two small parties in there the same time as us, so there wasn't much of an atmosphere but not the fault of the venue. The restaurant was clean, and the waitress was very
Was quiet when we arrived. We were seated by a v loud man in his phone, which made conversation difficult. The food was nice but the rolls were stale. I remarked to the waitress who asked the kitchen to replace them. We had the scampi, it was really nice. Waitress was competent & pleasant.
We have just had an amazing breakfast at Harvester (Monkspath). There was a Santa's Grotto, the great man himself, as well as a gift for each child. All at no cost. The gift contained entertainment for the children. After our breakfast, our child was invited to join the Christmas drawing table.
Had another lovely evening last night at Monkspath Harvester. After a quick trip to the salad bar ( loving the blue cheese coleslaw), we ordered Nachos and halloumi fries starters then triple combo and bird, surf & turf (the steak was cooked to perfection ! ). The food was faultless, we loved it. Tha
Visited today and was served by Megan who was amazing. Really helpful and clearly knew the menu well and we never felt pressured to finish our food too quickly. The food was superb and portion sizes are very generous for the very fair price. Really recommend to anyone in the area !
We had a wonderful time here and will definitely be back again. The staff was absolutely lovely and the food was incredible. I know they say don't eat anything bigger than your head but the ice-cream was just to hard to say no to.
Visited yet another one of my favourite places, as ever, all good, but it seems the prices are getting steeper and portions are getting smaller. But I guess that is the same everywhere. Free parking, loads of space and friendly staff will make up for the shortfalls.
The salad bar is now back though its not a self serve option just yet. The food was great as usual. The service was also good. A good place to ease down a bit and enjoy. Ample parking too. It's a good place to take the family too.
Waited a short while to be seated, not many staff were about although it wasn't busy. Once seated we were seen quickly and staff were very polite. One of our party had special diet requirements, and they had no issue catering to this. Food took some time to arrive, the waitress actually chased it fo
