Great staff, one of the best quizzes, with the funniest quiz master! Been going here for a few weeks now on their quiz nights, food is great it’s my favourite lasagna I’ve ever had!! And my husband n mates love their burgers!! Lots of food choices ��
Had a lovely night at pub quiz with my sister as new locals to Shortlanesend. The staff were friendly, quiz people were very nice. Met lots of new people of all generations. We will differently be going to pub quiz later in the month and have eaten meals here that were very good and value for money.
Went Saturday night for the two for £10 cocktails !!! They were amazing some of the best I have ever tried!!! Highly recommend !!!!

Loved this place. Amazing heated pods outside, ideal for the colder months. Big patio seating area too. I'm sure in the summer it's heaving. Nice pint, good service. Would definitely go back again if I'm in the area
We visited this pub twice whilst staying at a local campsite, once for food, which I will say was delicious, we were a group of 7 and everyone enjoyed. Our other visit was to watch the Lions game, again we thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere there. A very good pub with excellent, food, service and atmosphere.

A great local pub with lovely staff who are friendly. The food is great and reasonably priced. We often visit here with family and friends when they come to visit us, all made to feel welcome. They do lots for the community too. It's great to have such a lovely pub on our doorstep!

Wow. Just visited the old plough for lunch. The Meals was massive, price was absolutely great. From the moment of being greeted to the moment we left it was great! Highly recommend. Will most definitely return very soon!

Passed this establishment many times on the way to and from work just never had the opportunity to to stop here. When I did I found friendly staff, plenty of parking, free WiFi, good choice of drinks and located in a quiet village but on a main route. Well worth stopping. Did not have the opportunity to try out the menu this time but it looks very reasonable. I am likely to be returning as not too far away from home.
Upon arriving at the plough was made to feel welcome nothing was too much trouble especially from the young lady behind the bar, food was lovely and even finished the night off with a couple games of pool👍
Found this pub by accident on journey from St Austell to St ives and had lunch. Fabulous food, friendly staff and very quick service even though it was very busy and only just opened. Had evening meal on way back. Best steak and ale pie ever and best dessert was a dream. Will definitely go back again soon. Food is obviously all home made from scratch. Fabulous!!

This is a brilliant little pub, at the heart of the local community. We have visited for many years while on holiday at the local campsite, and although we only holiday once a year, we are always remembered. There is a great feeling when you walk in, and the food is great.. and so are the staff! Always one of the best parts of our holiday.
