Absolutely delicious. Shrewsbury has been waiting for a seafood & fish restaurant like this, after a friend recommended it, I was so looking forward to eating here & I was definitely not disappointed! The owner was very welcoming, she's decorated the walls of the restaurant herself with under-sea murals and it makes for a very cosy & homely space For starter I had the crab bisque, and for main, the trout. There's not a menu on the FB page as far as I can see, but if you message them they will send you a copy I spent a week deciding on what I was going to have, then changed my mind when I got there - it all looked so delicious! The bisque was dark, thick, full of flavour & peppered with generous chunks of crab meat - it was all I could do not to lick the bowl! The trout was perfectly cooked and served with fish veloute, grilled (and somewhat caramelised) fennel, along with a generous serving of pureed potato and some crevettes and mussels for good measure The friend I was eating with had the scallops & black pudding as a starter (we did swapsies of course ;)) and agreed they they had been cooked to perfection, caramelised on the outside and juicy on the inside - she was particularly pleased with the thin & crispiness of the black pudding which accompanied it Along with a very decent wine list, this made for a really excellent meal. Somewhere I would definitely come back to, and absolutely recommend!

Outstanding meal, quality service, lovely atmosphere. Bisque and mackerel to start, bass and tagine to follow. All a delight. This place is a great addition to the Shrewers list of first class restaurants. Happy to recommend. And I suspect you’ll need to book as more people like us rave about it!

Eccentric, slightly chaotic but it just added to the atmosphere. Chef was approachable and highly skilled. Front of house team good fun. The food was the best seafood I have eaten for a long time. Thanks guys. We will be back. Under £70 for 2 with generous portions for a started and mains plus a few glasses.

This is now officially my favourite restaurant in Shrewsbury! I’ve been twice this week, 8 of us on Thursday and 4 of us last night. Great surroundings in a quirky building. Complementary nibbles and bread to start with were super. The seafood is beautifully cooked with wonderful flavours bursting through. My mission is to work through the whole menu. The staff are efficient and friendly. The owners show such passion for their business. The chef is so friendly and circulates around the tables to chat to people in between producing his fabulous food. I shall soon be arranging my next visit!

Quirky little restaurant with a "foreign holiday" feel. The kitchen (tiny!) is in full view. ..so greeted by the chef. (Comment - music too loud ) Given choice of seats chose to sit outside next to the fig tree! Enthusiastic and personable 'front of house '. Right to the food: delicious, well cooked seafood. Well presented. Value for money. ..very good. ..Dinner for two ( starters and mains) plus drinks £70. Would we go back....YES DEFINITELY XX

Welcome to Frankwell fellow business owners! We were blown away by not only the feel of the restaurant but the passion that comes from both of the owners. The food was second to none, fresh, full of flavour and not like any other fish we’ve tried in Shrewsbury. We’ll definitely be back xx

This restaurant was recommended by couple of my friends which serves Mediterranean cuisine. They have lot of choices of sea food. We tried prawns and monk fish curry with rice, prawns chorizo peppers starters, long Island ice tea and baklava with ice cream for dessert. We shared among two of us and was more than enough. My personal favourite was prawns curry which reminded me of fish curry from India. Would come again to try other dishes 👍

The best restaurant/food in Shrewsbury, infact the best I've ever been to. Staff were all so lovely and attentive. Atmosphere 10/10. Food 10/10 absolutely stunning, large portion sizes and really delicious!!! I'm a massive fish lover and I wasn't disappointed at all. Plus free tasty beetroot salad + hummus with flatbread while you wait. Definitely will be returning to work our way through the menu.

The food was absolutely amazing and the staff were brilliant. I ordered a takeaway and had no cutlery so they very kindly let me borrow their silverware. Very friendly and very welcoming. 😊😊

An impromptu trip to Shrewsbury resulted in my son and I going here for lunch as we are both huge seafood fans. The service was excellent, friendly, helpful staff made you feel welcome and answered any questions about the menu. They brought out flatbread, a beetroot salad, the most incredible hummus and baba ganoush before our starter which was the oysters (so delicious!) I wanted to try something new so went with the bream (beautifully cooked) and my son had the seafood parppadelle which was quite possibly the most delicious food we had tried in years! This place is well worth a visit, I only wish I lived closer as it would definitely be a regular haunt. Fantastic place, so glad we tried it.

First time visit. Staff were very welcoming and the interior warm and inviting. Ironically, being a sea food restaurant I don’t eat seafood but my plus one absolutely loves it and she was very impressed with her seafood chowder saying it was the best she has tasted in the UK. I had the Lebanese Chicken which was divine. There are also two beef and one lamb dishes for those who would prefer a meat option. Whilst enjoying our first drinks we were given complimentary nibbles - flat breads, salad with hummus. A nice touch and set us up perfectly the mains. They also serve cocktails. I had a Piña colada which was lovely and blended perfectly. Service was very good and staff had a nice demeanour about them. Definitely will return.
