Absolutely love this place. The food is always homemade and amazing right down to the homemade coleslaw. The view is beautiful. And the staff are so polite and happy to help. Cash only! More than worth a trip to the atm. Very affordable. You will fall in love with this gem of a place instantly. They even do cocktails and are available for evening events which are lit up so beautifully for the evenings.
Great place, first time in shrewsbury and the staff were sound, hot drink were very nice and cold drink on ice i would recomend

Lovely place to just sit and chill. Good food and drink selection. Something for everyone. Sit inside or enjoy the river outside. You wouldn't think you were in a town centre when your enjoying your food watching ducks and swans literally a few feet away. Staff are very friendly and have great sense of humour.
Great location just by the river, you can see boats going past the environment around there is lovely.
I had an afternoon tea and the scones were great. There was a decent amount too for what we paid.
The people there were really kind. The food was great. I'd totally go back again.
They even have a record of the river level, some of them will surprise.
visited this lovely tea room with a friend on our way back home from Welshpool. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We sat at a table over looking the river and it was so relaxing. We had the afternoon tea and it was just delicious. There was so much of it that we had to take some of the cake home and it was a very reasonable price. Will definitely go again whenever I am in Shrewsbury.
Had a one day visit to Shrewsbury. Tried Lily,s tea garden and we were not disappointed. Staff could not be more helpful. making sure our table overlooking the river Severn wasn't, wet after recent showers. Drinks were cheap and served by lovely and friendly staff. Food was homely and absolutely delicious .
When rain unfortunately started again somebody was there instantly to help us move under cover. We will definitely be back next time we visit lovely Shrewsbury.
Went for my stepdaughters 18th birthday lunch. They were so accommodating considering we were a party of 9. The setting is wonderful overlooking the river Severn and the staff friendly and down to earth. They made us feel right at home. Would recommend this tea room for the relaxed setting.
Great place by the side of the river with a lovely view. Food is both fresh and tasty. There is a good choice of teas,coffees and hot chocolate. The Pimms is a must. The servers are friendly and are happy to help.Prices are good.
After walking past this place for years I finally went in for a bank holiday beer with 2 friends. Full of character, great staff, great view of the river and just a general all round good vibe. Would highly recommend, and can't wait to go back.
Lovely cafe good food . Good fun with the staff also. Nice to sit by the river on a sunny warm day. Wouldn't realise you were right next to a busy road.

If you want a relaxing cuppa sitting beside the river Severn then this is a must. Not only is the food and service very good but the setting is so peaceful and tranquil it's like stepping back in time .
Such a sweet and unusual place.
Only open in the summer (often under water in the winter).
Each year Lily's comes back better than ever.
Go and chill with a Pimms by the river and try the salmon fish cakes x
Very good home made food by the river, interesting garden, lots to look at! good menu and prices. We parked in multi storey carpark just across the road
A little gem nestled away....what a lovely place really friendly and a fantastic view. Did not charge for little extras and even gave the little one a free lollipop. Will be going again when I'm back in Shrewsbury 👍🏻
