I think rating this place 5 stars is a bit insulting because it definitely deserves more than that. This pub is a real hidden gem and the family that run the pub are beyond amazing. Went in there last night with my family and it was busy, but the venue is just what you want. A family run pub that serves great beers and great food. Made to feel very at home and my in laws live in Shrewsbury, so whenever I'm down again I've found the best pub to go to for a meal and a drink.

Haven't been here for some time but visited this evening for a meal with our good friends. We found all the staff and the Inn to be really welcoming from the moment we went in. A great menu with just the right variation and price. We also took the opportunity to book Community Uke's Christmas meal for 13th December! 10 out of five!! We'll be back!!

Very enjoyable Sunday lunch last week with a large party of family and friends including my son who is allergic to nuts. Debbie at the New Inn was so helpful and reassuring that his allergy could be catered for that he was able to enjoy his first ever meal in a restaurant. This was a big step for him and so all credit must go to Debbie and the staff at the New Inn for making this possible. Thank you.

Fantastic little pub. Beautiful food all cooked fresh to order. Landlord and staff attentive and really welcoming, nothing is too much trouble for them. Everywhere clean. What more can I say. A country village pub run how it should be. If I could give more stars I would. Don't ever change, you do a fantastic job 👍

A fantastic pub off the beaten track with very welcoming landlords and fantastic food. We dropped in on the way back from Wales. It's a little off the main roads but this shouldn't deter a visit. The food and service was simply excellent. Fresh and home cooked food, just great.

Our family visited this pub just after Christmas and it was a great experience. Very welcoming owners and staff and really great home cooked food. My son said it was the best gammon he’d ever had! They also welcomed our dog who enjoyed lying by the fire. Definitely recommend.
