Excellent late afternoon banana bread & cappuccino, slightly off the beaten track in Shrewsbury. This would be a great place to mooch over the papers, with a coffee, cake or a sandwich. Friendly, approachable staff. Recommended.

The Boiler Room is a must visit place. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They have a great selection of foods, drinks, and homemade cakes. The prices are very reasonable and offer good value for money. They are located in a lovely old building which gives the places a great atmosphere. Would highly recommend trying this place out if you are in the vicinity.

Really really nice. We had a late lunch on the leather sofa. Very ambient. Especially liked the fact that background music was in the background, quiet and non intrusive. Food was delicious. Will definitely be back.

Excellent! Delicious food, good service. The staff / owners are friendly and welcoming, couldn't fault the food, coffee or service. Peaceful with background music that didn't feel intrusive, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and will happily come back again.

Really nice coffee. The staff were really friendly and a decent selection of cakes. I will return when I am next in the area purely for the coffee! One of the best I have had from an independent café.
