A delightful stay at the Old Bell in Shrewsbury!
Our experience at the Old Bell was truly memorable. The hotel exudes charm, and Simon, our dedicated server, provided exceptional service throughout our visit.
The rooms were beautifully decorated, clean, and comfortable, capturing the historic ambiance of the establishment. The convenient location allowed us to explore the picturesque town of Shrewsbury effortlessly.
Simon's attentiveness and helpfulness were outstanding. He made excellent recommendations for nearby restaurants and attractions, ensuring we had a fantastic time.
The highlight of our stay was the Sunday roast and dessert served at the Old Bell. The roast was cooked to perfection, with succulent meat and flavorful accompaniments. The dessert was a heavenly treat, indulging our taste buds with its delectable flavors.
If there is one small suggestion, it would be to make the beef steak a bit more tender. Other than that, everything was fantastic.
We highly recommend the Old Bell to anyone visiting Shrewsbury. With its charming ambiance, exceptional service from Simon, and outstanding Sunday roast and dessert, it's an excellent choice for a delightful stay. We can't wait to return in the future.

Really pleasant stay and place indeed.
We arrived and the pub was very busy but a great atmosphere. Some customers directed us to check in and this was fast and easy. The room was modern with everything we needed and for the price was real steal at just £100 for 2 nights.
We ate at the pub the first night and its was quick, lovely and very good prices.
One thing I have to say is I have never sat in a more friendly pub before. The atmosphere even though busy was great all the customers were just so lovely and welcoming there was a real sense of community here.
We will certainly be back and Simon the owner who we met at breakfast and all the staff need a pat on the back it really was worth very penny we paid.
