Went to rosy leaf yesterday at the new premises within connections in pontesbury. Lovely warm welcome by Shayne and her waitress. Very pretty little tea room with lots of cakes on display. The tables looked so pretty and sugar lumps presented on the tables! Ordered a drink and a bacon brie and cranberry panini. Came short time after beautifully presented with coleslaw, fresh crisp salad and crisps. Great portion size and panini had a lot of filling. Everyone on our table really enjoyed their food. So nice to have a quirky place like this on my doorstep with welcoming hosts. Thanks Shayne and staff we will be back. Great job guys x x £6.80 in total! Bargain for great food!

I won the afternoon tea for two and have given it to my parents as a nice treat. Shane has been lovely in her messages to me and I know that my parents are in for a treat. They deserve it. I can't wait to feedback to you all on my win!! 💖 xx

What a fabulous place! Genuine, friendly service and very welcoming. The team looked after us very well from start to finish. Delicious homemade savouries and cakes. One of the best afternoon teas I’ve ever had. Make sure you book as it’s a fairly small space but really don’t miss it if you fancy a treat. They also do homemade pies. I was called by my first name, which made me feel very welcome. There was a choice of freshly baked scones and preserves. Lots to love… highly recommended and would definitely return!

Walked Rodney's Pillar on May Day, drove past a little tea room called Elsie's. As we have an Elsie of our own we just had to come back and have a look. What a delightful place, delicious cakes and good variety of drinks. Cream teas for the 3 of us, amazing, loved it. We will definitely be back. Staff, especially Shane were welcoming and friendly 🥰

Super lovely afternoon tea, with the perfect savoury/sweet balance. Best sausage rolls I've had, really good amount of sandwiches and selection of delicious cake. I like my cake and can honesty not fault these! Would highly recommend. Other food being served also looked amazing (cake slices are HUGE) so I'll be heading back! Staff were super friendly, the tea room itself is cosy, beautifully decorated and really lovely atmosphere. 10/10!

Went out of their way to post me some gift vouchers on next day delivery at their own expense, only for me then to find out I had bought them from the wrong Elsie's tea room 🙈 So lovely and helpful to arrange a refund and kindly take them back when it was completely my own fault! So for customer service they are 5 stars all the way, sadly I cannot comment on the food yet but should I ever be Shrewsbury way I shall book in and I am sure leave a glowing review. It looks amazing!

Charming traditional tea shop/cafe serving great coffee and a good range of homemade cakes and light meals. We had the soup and chicken & leek pie, both cooked to order. All served with proper crockery and cutlery. Great lunch stop near Shrewsbury on the way back from mid-Wales.
