D'jeet?

We reserved at 6:34 for 7:30 we're seated at 7:15, very great service the whole way through absolutely delicious appetizers we had the goat cheese although they change the menu every single day so good luck. Super cool decor we asked about a kids menu he was totally psyched for everything they had. BYOB Coffee insane desserts. Very nice staff. Always one table open while we are Friday night.

Decided to stop by for lunch while shopping at The Grove. Restaurant is very clean, and the host was pleasant. The waitress was attentive and a bit robotic in terms of just doing the job which is fine. Rather that than someone outright rude. I would say the food was good, but overpriced for what it is in terms of portion size and taste. The bowl of the chipotle chicken soup was very bland. Tasted like low sodium chicken broth with some cayenne pepper and bits of chicken/veggies here and there. The fried calamari was fresh and seasoned very well along with the sauce. It could have been more crispy though. The goat cheese ravioli was great. The flavors blended really well, it was light and the carrot chips added a nice crunchy texture. So kind of a mixed experience in terms of the food. If in the area I may give it another shot to see what else is good and update my review.

Food was top notch. Been coming here for years. Pretty much everything on the menu is solid. I always go with the goat cheese fritters and usually the grandpa Joey. Slammin. And when you go, ask for Jillian. She's hands down the best waitress I've ever had. Very attentive and respectful, even having a few tables to handle. 5/5 all day.

Recently ate here. Food is above average. Three entrees ordered and hummus appetizer. Pita bread provided with appetizer which is not enough for the spreads provided. Once bread was utilized; asked for more. I was surprised that there was an extra charge. Clearly the amount of bread provided will not be enough for the spreads. Called to attention of the restaurant. Was told they charge for this. Do not thing this is right as amount provided with spreads clearly is insufficient. I like to believe that the restaurant does not "shortchange" quantity knowing you need to ask for more. thank you for letting me share and hope the information is useful.

I’ve came her a twice now. The first time I did takeout, and everything that day I ordered was 5 stars AMAZING! I had ordered the Apple street squash blooms as my appetizer, organic rigatoni pesto, and the s’mores cake for dessert. All 3 dishes were outstanding! I highly recommend trying them all! The second time I came we did outdoor dining although I though everything was good just not as amazing as the first time. For appetizers we had the watermelon jicama and the soba noodle salad. Both were good and the soba salad was very unique. The watermelon in the jicama salad wasn’t sweet enough. If the watermelon would of been more sweet it would have been really good! For dinners we had the strip steak and the halibut. The strip steak was ok/good, but it could of used more seasoning. The risotto it came with was ok/good, but would of been better if the consistency of the risotto was creamier. The halibut came with butternut squash and lentil curry stew. The preparation was excellent! The halibut was a little bit over cooked though. For desserts we did the chocolate layer cake and the cinnamon Dulce de leche bread pudding topped with strawberry cheesecake gelato. The chocolate layer cake was good! The bread pudding wasn’t good at all! There were too many burnt pieces in it making it stiff. The strawberry cheesecake gelato was amazing! The gelato here is to die for! They should sell the gelato here by the pint to go! Overall everything here was ok/good with some dishes that are amazing. Portions here are generous too. I definitely will be coming back as I overall enjoyed everything for the most part. I recommend D’Jeet in Shrewsbury!

Upon arrival, we were told there was a 40 minute wait for lunch for two people. No problem! We received a text message when our table was ready and were seated promptly. We were greeted by our server within minutes and ordered water and two salads with grilled chicken - very simple. After waiting 30 minutes, we didn't receive our salads, nor were they being prepared (I had a clear view of the kitchen from my seat). During this time, not one staff member approached us to offer an update on our lunch or refill our waters. We watched as every table around us received their food and finished eating, tables that arrived LONG after us have all received their food. I flagged our waitress down and asked her to check on the salads, perhaps she forgot to fire them? She assured me she didn't forget, although I observed the kitchen staff standing around and restocking the prep line - not making our salads - and noticed they had gone through every ticket on the line. We waited another 15 minutes, hoping someone would communicate the error with the kitchen and have the salads expedited. Nope! We continued to watch new patrons sit and receive their food without any acknowledgement from any staff member. At that point it was evident our salads were never coming. We left without ever receiving our food. When we told the waitress we were leaving she responded "ok." No apology or update on what happened - just, "ok." We also informed the manager of the situation. He offered for us to take the salads to go, which we declined after having wasted nearly 2 hours of a beautiful afternoon. How much longer could we wait and why didn't you acknowledge the situation before it escalated to the point of us leaving!? Completely unacceptable.
