I love The Wade. Oliver is an amazing host and the food is absolutely superb. I’ve been there 3 times in the last 3 weeks and have enjoyed the experience. The only negative is the heating. Our table of 8 commented on how cold it was. When I approached the staff they explained the heating wasn’t working. Sadly until it is summer or heating restored I can’t take friends or family as it’s just too cold. Congratulations though to the Owners for employing such incredible staff.

Was a great place to take our family including kids, prices are like any bar n restaurant, a little over average. But was good food, great service and comfortable atmosphere.
My family used to go there when they were younger, they say its nothing like how it used to be. But was still a good vibe.

Love these old style pubs. Came here for lunch with my mum and daughter. Lovely backyard for the kids to play while the mums enjoy a wine in the sun and the staff were lovely. Will definitely be back in summertime :)

I don't know where they get their mussels from but they were not good at all. These had black shells with hardly anything in them. Nothing like the wonderful green shelled NZ mussels.

Had a great lunch here with a group of 24. Ribs were excellent and everyone else enjoyed their meals. Atmosphere and service great. Would definitely go again.

Great historic building, with a nice variety of indoor and outdoor areas. We found the service swift and friendly, though the venue was a bit too quiet to have any atmosphere. Live music would work really well here.
