Wonderful and polite customer service. The man serving the carvery was very happy, lovely and genuinely easy to talk too. The staff are really nice and the atmosphere is welcoming
I visited the george today with two of my friends. We each had a carvery and a drink. The food was excellent and service friendly. We ate in the pleasant garden as we had my friends dog with us but staff were attentive and helpful. Have been there before many times over the years and always find it

Very friendly welcome. As we had 2 dogs, we were asked to sit in the bar which was fine by us. Plenty of choice of seating. Food was delicious. They even brought some snacks for the dogs which was a lovely touch. Lovely little find. Would be returning for sure.
Wow what perfect hosts Mel and her team were on Sunday for my husbands surprise 60th birthday. I was let down two weeks before by venue and Mel was happy to help . She reserved the conservatory with outside seating which was ideal. Allowed us in early to decorate the conservatory. Most of our party

Called in for late breakfast. Nice fresh food, proper toasted bread. Fresh brewed coffee. One of our group would have prefered decaff but not an issue. Pleasant, helpful staff. Shame it was empty, but it was early. Thank you
This place has just started doing breakfast again. Excellent breakfast for £4.99. Hot and tasty, eggs cooked fresh to order. The mini hash browns are very moorish. I would suggest a trip here. Open every day from 8 till 11.30. Do yourself a favour and try it out......

Called in today for lunch with my son, he had an inset day I had a day off. Lovely warm welcome from the staff. Took our table and was lovely and clean. Order taken then good arrived quickly. All fresh hit and good quality. Fish and chips for me and burger and chips for my son. Had a great time. Foo
Country pub inside rather than the bog standard industrial look everywhere else-so made a nice change. Caring team of staff-Very keen prices and good value pub food. Unfussy relaxed place-No complaints as my 5th visit in 6 weeks.
Phoned and booked a table it was Sunday and fancied a roast first time we been there for dinner we go here for breakfast normally good value. Anyway the carvery was spot on no complaints apart from recharging the veg pots swede/ peas.
Stopped at the primmer inn next door to the George. Popped in for some food, it's a really nice comfortable pub with a nicely set out dinning area. The George is a lovely old building. The food was spot on can't fault it. And the service was good, and the staff member were plight and friendly. Also
