Ae Barrow & Sons

Myself and my family have been coming to this bakery for as long as I can remember, mainly for the doughnuts which are the best doughnuts I've ever had the pleasure of eating, by a million miles! Recently, my fiancé and I came in to do some cake tasting for our wedding as we discovered that they did wedding cakes, and knew if they were half as good as the doughnuts then we would be onto a winner, and we were not disappointed! The cakes here are absolutely insane! The best flavours and textures I've had in a cake, and we could not get enough of them. We tasted red velvet, chocolate, ginger, vanilla spice and carrot, and they were all so tasty. On top of that, Alison who was there to go through our options and assist us in our tasting gave such incredible service, made us very happy, and was very helpful to us. This bakery is very lucky to have such an amazing member of their team. All of the other staff members are also super nice and friendly too, but Alison was exceptional on our visit. We grabbed a few savoury things on the way out (pies and sausage rolls) which again, no surprise, were amazing! I come most Saturdays to get a couple of doughnuts, but after this visit I think I'll be adding cakes and pies to the order too! BEST BAKERY EVER.

Wow had the most amazing birthday cake from this bakery. Not only did it look amazing and professional, it tasted even better! Excellent value for money - I will never buy a cake from anywhere else now! All the snacks in there look fantastic as well. This will be my go to place from now on! I highly recommend!
