Just magic. As soon as we stepped foot in The Dreys for an open day we knew it was the venue for us. It was exactly what we were after and so unlike any venues I had seen before. It’s almost indescribable until you visit and see for yourself but Jackie, David and the team have created an absolute gem. It’s beautifully styled and furnished, the addition of the accommodation is just wonderful and so fabulously done. Both areas for the ceremony are perfect and made it difficult to choose, but we decided on the woodland and it was picture perfect. The food for the wedding breakfast from Invicta was everything we hoped for and then the breakfast the next morning was just what everyone needed after the best night ever. The fact that they have The Wedding Dolls is yet another cherry on top. Honestly so so happy to have found The Dreys and been married here. So many compliments from guests too, and the pictures look amazing. We will definitely be retuning for the roast dinners and other events they hold. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

We didn't stay for the breakfast but saw and smelt it being set up and all looked fabulous.
Facilities seemed excellent for a glamping spot and the bar and dance floor were amazing.
Decor is fabulous.

If we get married we said we would 100% look at this venue and most likely book on what we experienced.
The most special place! We booked our wedding back in 2019 and then Covid struck. Throughout everything Jackie, David and the team were simply amazing. Not only did they let us go ahead with our legal ceremony in 2020, with just our two witnesses we then had to re-arrange not once but twice. In 2022 we finally had our big day and it was more than we ever could have imagined. The team at The Dreys are the most special bunch of people - nothing is too much, and they are so genuinely invested in your big day. A huge thank you to Jackie, David, Bruce and The Wedding Dolls for giving us THE BEST DAY EVER! We wish we could do it all again. Emily & Xander xxx
A really special and unique wedding venue.
The location is just stunning and is just so peaceful.
The venue flows very well on the day and has a variety of different spaces which have different feels.
The woodland itself is just magical.
Family run business and David is just such a wonderful human being. Communication can occasionally be a bit slow but the service and care makes up for it.
Couldn't recommend The Dreys more. You are incredibly lucky to get married here.

We had the opportunity to provide wedding flowers at this gorgeous venue, and we fell in love with it! The Dreys is an absolutely stunning woodland venue, which has a truly romantic feel to it. With the help of the wedding dolls it is an absolutely perfect venue for those in love with the great outdoors.

This place is magical!
I had the pleasure of filming a wedding here recently and was blown away and how cool this venue is. I've been running Surrey Wedding Videos for over a decade and filmed at hundreds of different locations but this place is pretty special. The venue really secluded and perfectly set-up to cater for weddings and the staff/suppliers are super nice as well. I would highly recommend this venue to couples looking for something a little different for their wedding day.

We had our big day at The Dreys at the end of August and it was better than we ever could have imagined. The Dreys was our dream venue from day one. As big fans of nature and the great outdoors, we always dreamed of getting married in the woods and The Dreys wedding venue 100% fit the bill. From the stunning private woodland, gorgeous marquees and deckings to the beautiful styling throughout, The Dreys was perfect. Our wedding guests were totally blown away by the surroundings and kept asking us “how on earth did you find this place?”
As a 2020 bride and groom who had been engaged since 2016 and waited a long time for their special day, when Covid hit we were so grateful to be in the experienced hands of the team at The Dreys. They took away any stress by reserving a backup 2021 date for every single 2020 couple they already had on their books and when we entered the lockdown again later on in the year, they even did the same again and reserved us a potential 2022 date. The care and consideration they gave to their couples was above and beyond.
What did we love most about this venue? EVERYTHING! But here’s a few key things:
The team: Jackie, Adam, Gio, Bruce and all the amazing staff we know who put so much into this place, are outstanding. Jackie and Adam were always there to help and advise us. Bruce was incredible at setting all of our extra bits up for us (and packing it all away again – what a legend!) And Gio – not only did you order in extra special bottles of champagne just for us, but you were just the loveliest person on the day. And the Wedding Dolls who joined the Dreys family this year were absolutely insane. Kathleen was a saviour when we had an issue with our photographer cancelling last minute, and she responded to every email/WhatsApp as if it was no bother at all. Our guests commented on how friendly and helpful all of the staff at The Dreys were, and we experienced that ourselves too. Anything we wanted, we got. The staff were constantly checking up on us and making sure we were ok – my glass never got a chance to be empty because the staff were catering to our every need!
The styling: This venue is STUNNING. All the furnishings, little extras and the way it’s all put together (with the help of the Wedding Dolls) is just fantastic. And not only that, they let you bring your own bits along too AND set it all up for you. It really doesn’t get much better. Being able to add those personalised extras without the stress of putting them all together ourselves made the run up to the big day so much more enjoyable. Instead of running around madly the day before, we instead got some time just the two of us and enjoyed some pre-wedding drinks with friends and family.
The accommodation: Many of our guests joined us to stay on the night of the wedding and I am so glad they did. We all spent the evening after the main event hanging around the fire pit with the remaining marshmallows and wine – one of our favourite memories of the day. Our guests told us how comfortable the beds in the bell tents were, and the newly upgraded woodcutters hut (honeymoon suite) was the perfect tranquil spot to spend out first night together as a married couple. Staying on-site also meant we got to have breakfast with our guests in the morning, which ended up being another one of our favourite times of the day. Denise was an absolute star – my avocado on toast saved me that morning haha!
We could go on and on about how incredible our day was, and how much we love The Dreys. It really was just perfect. We cannot wait to come back and stay in the Woodcutters, or hopefully be invited to another wedding there!

Wow.. where do we start!!!
We was lucky enough to get finally married at The Dreys on 5th June 2021 after many cancellations due to the lockdowns / COVID restrictions.
It was totally worth the wait!
We got engaged in December 2017 and found The Dreys at the beginning of 2018 after searching “woodland venue” on Google. This was our first venue to view and our last because it ended up to be everything we wanted.
We booked our wedding day for 29th May 2020.
From 2018 we got to know the venue owner Jackie really well, we had countless phone calls and meetings whilst we was planning our big day.
Suddenly Covid hit in March 2020 forcing us to cancel our wedding day. Jackie and the team couldn’t have been more helpful in this extremely stressful and upsetting situation.
Nothing was too much trouble, they booked us in as many new provisional dates possible to make sure we had lots of options and was there to talk to us and reassure us throughout.
No one could prepare us for the lengthy lockdowns that could then come forcing us to eventually re book 5th June 2021.
The year flew by and suddenly we was on top of June 2021 and finally about to get married!
Again after numerous calls with Jackie and the team we decided to go ahead with a 30 guest wedding.
We also got introduced to The Wedding Dolls, who were added onto our booking as part of the new package with The Dreys… and let me tell you they were a big added bonus!
The Dolls were so thorough and thoughtful with everything they did. I’m a bit of a control freak and I stress about things being perfect and all my little details being set out exactly how I wanted and envisioned them to be.
They listened and took notes and meetings and on the day got everything spot on. I couldn’t have done it better myself.
Jackie is one of the most kindest, selfless people I've ever met. Nothing and I mean nothing was too much trouble. Jackie allowed us to have the wedding day of our dreams and we’re so grateful for that.
The venue is out of this world! And has improved massively through the efforts of the owners since we first viewed it back in 2018. They have worked tirelessly through lockdown to keep adding to the venue so that us brides and grooms can have the perfect day after lockdown!
The improvements on the ceremony area with the toilets & floor extension worked so well.
We were lucky enough to have gorgeous weather on our day but the venue are completely covered for all weather. They have a huge main marque and a drinks tent, the ceremony/ dance floor area is all sheltered.
Before the day I felt completely relaxed knowing that The Dreys and The Dolls had got everything coveted.
And on the day we was not disappointed in any way.
Nothing could have gone better, the venue looked amazing, the guests all loved it.
Having a small intimate 30 person wedding was one of the best decisions we made. The venue is huge but the way it’s laid out made us feel so together and like there somehow was 50 people.
The staff on the day went above and beyond for us and our guests. The bar staff and the morning breakfast ladies all couldn’t have done more or been friendlier.
In the evening the Gio and his bar staff went round and asked if guests needed blankets or drinks.
We was having photos and Gio brought us over some
Prosecco. They updated us on the money we put behind the bar and made sure drinks were flowing all
day and night!
Out of everything that’s happened recently with covid.. for this one day us and our 28 guests were allowed to feel truly happy and carefree.
The team had all COVID rules under control and hand sanitisers were at all the entrances.
Even though COVID rules had to be followed we didn’t feel restricted, and we feel the Dreys managed to somehow get that just right!!
We can’t recommend this venue enough, we’re so sad it’s all over but so extremely grateful for what we had.
Our wedding day wouldn’t have been what it was without The Dreys, Jackie, Kathleen & Natalie. Thank you all so much!! Cannot wait to visit in the future!! Mr & Mrs Baker xx
