It is a great venue. I have only been two times, both on a Saturday. It was extremely busy, In fact, it was mobbed. The staff are organised, professional, and enthusiastic. The atmosphere was electric, with great sounds and a cheerful audience. The price of ale is pleasable, I would not cross the road to the pub OPPOSITE.Very clean and cosy, toilet areas are clean and checked properly. I have no idea about food as I am a fat boy who prefers a drink to SCOFFING. Dogs welcome. The outside seating areas are the best in SKEG. FAMILIES ARE MADE WELCOME. It would be my local if possible. Visitors are also made very welcome, support this TOP VENUE.

Didn't eat here - but had a few drinks. Music was great and not too loud. Bar maid was really friendly aswell. We will return if in the area.

We came to this pub on the 14th of June 2023 and I must say the beer here is absolutely first class they do real ail which is brilliant. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the pub is fully accessible to wheelchair users. The beer garden is excellent and I love this place Also to get into the beer garden. You go into a metal gate which is on the roadside just opposite Wetherspoons. This is the best place in town do not go to the three monkeys. It’s far far better here. Also just to make you aware I’m not affiliated to either of these places but just a customer who likes to give a fair and honest review.

Absolutely fantastic pub, staff are very efficient. It's a busy place but you never have to wait long, we used to end the night in wetherspoons but the lumley is cheaper and much much cheaper !!!

4.5* food was great and the best Pub meal me and my gf have had in a very long time.
The Burgers we had were amazing, nice and juicy, not dry at all.
Kids meal was also good my son at it all, chips were nice and crispy and soft.
And the Bbq pulled pork loaded fries was amazing decent portion.
Only reason it wasn't a 5* was the fact it was a little to dim in there and would of liked a little more light.

Great location as just opposite the train and bus station and at the end of chip pan alley, ad its known, the paved over road down to the sea front.
Ordered a large cooked breakfast and it was very well cooked, no grease at all. Good service too.
We stayed to watch the singer as it started raining. He did two sets, really good entertainer and good voice too.
Later on in the afternoon a band came on stage but not our taste in music.
Busy throughout the day, with groups of adults meeting up for a drink. Lovely beers. Always been one of my favourite pubs in Skegness and still is.

The beer garden is brilliant when the sun is shining and have regular live bands on too.

Went in for breakfast, fast service and tasty food. Why wouldn't you have cider with breaky!? Well worth it if you want a not greasy breakfast in skeg, dog friendly as well which as ever was a big tick

A few months after the major refurbishment the whole place still looks fantastic; just popped in for a quick bite to eat after the gym with Thorpe; the food came out quickly, was cooked perfectly, lovely steak & a great burger, the staff were polite & friendly & a few of them checked on us after we had been served to make sure that everything was ok, even the chef popped out, absolutely no complaints. 5 STARS all round, definitely recommend to anyone!

Properly the best pub in Skegness...great staff and a well run pub the scooter rally was a brilliant weekend the bands were fab on monday it was still buzzing with Eddie soulfinger and mark stephens...well done all.

Popped for drinks with a friend on our visit to skeg. Friendly bar staff, lovely setting and there was a live band on in the beer garden. We had a fab time so we returned later in the evening. Would definatley recommend a visit if ur in skeg

Very good although a shame that our order wasn't correct after the barman went into the Chef to change the variation of the meal slightly. One of said variations was no eggs on a gammon but double pineapple instead. We were then informed there wasn't any pineapple left just before our meal was served asked if we wanted an alternative (egg), said no thanks but proceeded to get double egg. One slight gripe to this is that Iceland is only next door so maybe could of nipped for a tin of pineapple maybe. Next we also asked for no mayo or salad on the bacon and cheeseburger this came out with mayo on. Luckily there wasn't an allergy to eggs etc so again not too much of an issue. The children's meal of chicken nuggets came with oil on the plate, which for a child is not acceptable. There also wasn't enough chips on the plates only a handful due to this one of the party proceeded to share they're chips out. Was this because it was 30% discount day. Other than this the meal tasted great just a few tweaks needed.

4 of us just visited for lunch and had 3 carverys and a rump steak. To be honest none of us enjoyed our meals. The steak was overly tough and tasted metallic, our 3 carverys apart from the meat was inedible the veg was over cooked and the mash was lumpy and didn't taste good at all. The Yorkshire puddings were rock hard. As a successful head chef myself I think whoever is running your kitchen needs to get a grip and have some pride in the food he allows to be served as your pub will go down hill very fast

No.1 pub,restaurant & venue in Skegness! Our band played there on the Scooter weekender and we was treated like royalty. The Lumley team of staff were run off there feet but nothing was too much trouble for them which contributed to a great weekend. We’ve been back since on a not so busy day and look forward to returning on another busy Scooter Rally day. Keep up the good work. You get my vote and top marks for what you do.
