Ate here 17th September, with my sister, neice, mum and son and everything was amazing. Large portion sizes, top quality meat and lovely environment. The GM was very professional and welcoming and really went out of his way to accommodate us. Will definitely eat here again next time I'm in skeggie. For the 5 minute drive from Butlins, it's well worth the trip for the superior quality and cheaper meals.

Excellent freshly cooked food. Staff are friendly and professional. Spare ribs were to die for and the cod in smoked bacon was delicious. Dessert was extra special as the chef went out of his way to produce apple crumble for one of our party. We were, kept in formed at all times regarding the time frame of all the freshly cooked dishes. Will be recommending to all our friends and will be going back soon.

We booked a table here as we were passing through the area, and what a gem of a restaurant we found! You could easily drive past it without noticing it, but that would definitely be your loss.
This is a very cosy place, but with an excellent menu and we certainly enjoyed the food. I had a tasty homemade tomato soup starter and an equally delicious hunters chicken with crispy bacon just the way I like it.
Even though there was only one chef and one waitress on duty, they provided a speedy service. And even though our waitress, Sunni, was rushed off her feet we never felt overlooked and she happily brought us extra drinks and condiments when we needed them. And we also appreciated the manager, Dan, stopping in to check that we were happy with our meal.
A thoroughly enjoyable meal - I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!

Cannot recommend this place enough! We went for afternoon tea - firstly we bought our dog, so despite having already set up inside, they accommodated us outside. They had even got a birthday banner for my partner! They bought an "afternoon tea" plate for my dog and when it started raining helped us inside!
The tea was beautiful, the scones, the cakes the salmon sandwiches all perfect, and the tea was kept topped up. Our hosts were amazingly hospitable and I would easily pay double the menu price. We loved our time here and hope we can visit again sometime.

Spent 2 nights on our maiden caravan voyage. The hosts Debbie and Kevin, lovely people, extremely friendly and welcoming, on hand to help when needed. Very quiet site for complete relaxation and dogs welcome. We tasted the delights of the restaurant and the food was delicious. We will definitely be returning.

Amazing place. We visited here on our way back to Peterborough. What an absolutely delightful place. The food was freshly cooked to order and you can really taste the difference. The place was clean. Sunni, our waitress and Dan the manager were so very hospitable. Nothing was too much trouble.

Me, my wife and 2 friends stayed the night in our caravan. The grounds were immaculate, very friendly and helpful staff who are also the owners. Helped us put up our awning up in gale force winds and did a better job than us. Stayed for a Sunday dinner which was superb.
Would definitely recommend, and will return.

We have come to this site and we are absolutely amazed how very helpful the staff do and Steve are .they go above and beyond to help all on site and are truly amazing.we like it so much we are hoping to be staying on a seasonal pitch.the grounds are kept very nice .grass kept lovely and it is so peaceful.we wouldn't wish to be anywhere else. Nothing is too much trouble if you ask for help .do and Steve have helped us with our awning due to my husband and myselfs health not being great.i would highly recommend this site.

What a lovely little hidden gem down country lanes not far from Parklands caravan park where the Cheers pub is.
What a delight to be able to have a choice as a vegetarian! Homemade food, family run and the staff are welcoming and chatty.
It’s the sort of place where you’ll be stuffed after a main but because it’s so nice you’ve got to have a pudding too! �
Will definitely come again.

We found this beautiful place on trip advisor and it lived up to its reviews. Beautiful views, all the staff were friendly & very accommodating. Food was hot & yummy & very well priced. We have just visited poplars farm restaurant and can safety say it is one of the best Sunday lunches I have had in a long time. On arrival we were welcomed by the very friendly staff and served with drinks, given our menus to peruse over while sitting a very comfortable lounge area. Once table was ready we were taken through and all I can say about the food is WOW OUTSTANDING!!!!
The staff were attentive and the whole place had a lovely friendly atmosphere. I will definetly be visiting again very soon. Thankyou for a wonderful experience.

Visited Poplar Farm with my husband his sister and brother in law on Sunday for lunch a wonderful and friendly welcome always awaits us when we arrive we just love the banter with “Kiosk Kev” while we have a relaxed drink before going through to the restaurant the food is always fantastic and very well presented and the apple crumble is to die for you dine in a very relaxed and homely atmosphere cannot fault anything Kev and Debs deserve to go from strength to strength lovely people see you both very soon Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you both xx

Absolutely fantastic weekend, Kevin and Debbie couldn't do enough for us and the food in the restaurant is really good. The children warmed to the family friendly environment in no time and nothing was too much trouble. Plenty of room for our mansion of a tent and close enough to the sights without them being a nuisance. Facilities are really clean and just what you need for your get away.
Thanks guys, it has been a pleasure and can't wait to visit again. :)

Well where 2 start! We have just stayed here for the week & loved every minute. We have been camping for 10 yrs now & this is the best camp site by far that we have ever stayed at & will definitely be returning. Kevin & Debbie couldn't have made us feel more welcome & just such lovely people. Our girls are normally ready for home after a week camping but they actually cried 2day when we left. Roll on for 2016 for many visits back here, thanx again for everything & so pleased to have met you, love The Atkinson Family xxxx
