Village Chippie

This is the best chippy in chapel! We come the beach each year and play the arcades, have fish and chips followed by a paddle. Today was an amazing day. We have visited this chip shop on all but one occasion… we regretted the one time we didn’t. Today, the lady behind the counter could not have been more attentive to our needs and yet again the food was superb!! Thank you

Absolutely cracking fish and chips. I had Gluten free steamed haddock, chips and mushy peas. Their openness with cooking methods and ingredients was reassuring and helpful. We also purchased (for the non-freaky-eaters amongst us) battered sausage, battered fish, and chicken nuggets, hot chocolate and cans of drink. All the food was fresh, hot and delicious. We will be back soon!

Very friendly staff, very reasonable prices, unfortunately it was cash only on my visit. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating with a couple of parking spaces on the very front. Chips are very tasty, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, mushy peas are tasty and warm, fish is fresh and skinless, not too greasy, and juicy with crispy batter. Portion sizes are also a fair size not too large that you can't eat it all, but still plenty to fill you. A slight downfall for the business attracting clients is that there's a lack of advertisements on the front off or outside the chippy, with what it has to offer and showing the great value for money. This chippy also has rippled looking chips, which gives it a distinct talking point amongst others. Highly recommended chippy.
