Great pub with dog friendly accommodation, and nice Guinness 👍 would definitely recommend this place.
Terri and Bryan have built an amazing holiday experience at this village pub near the seaside. Quality accommodation and food combined with a welcome that is second to none. Live music every Saturday in the season promoting local talent. I love this place.
After a family funeral we all met up at the saracens head to have a drink. We was made to feel very welcome. Will definitely visit again on better circumstances and looking at the entertainment list could be a brilliant night. Once again thank you for all your support and making us feel welcome.

Friendly, helpful with excellent Guinness. (Other beers are available lol !) Food limited this year re. Covid but normally a good selection and good value for money. Accommodation available also. Locals don't bite either. (Photo with Covid restrictions in place) Quite atmospheric and "olde worlde"
It was our first visit and we wasn't disappointed, we had a very nice homemade Steak pie and chips. The landlord and landlady are very friendly. We shall be returning again.
We stayed at a site down the road, staff friendly. Lovely dog friendly pub. Food was very tasty.
Quality accomodation, spacious room, freshly refurbished, clean bathroom - The Old Lounge - for a good price. View to the church. A bit noisy at night as the window to the main road.
Nice old inn. Village location 2 miles from Chapel st Leonards, the room was equipped with tea facilities and a microwave. Free WiFi and television.
Have only been in for drinks, but great Landlord, Landlady and staff. Good service in pleasant surroundings. 👍👍
