I've heard a few negative reviews about this place, but I wanted to give it a go and see what the food was like for myself.
I'm glad I did... The battered cod is some of the best chippy fish I have ever tasted and the chips were nice.
This is definitely going to be my go to chippy when I'm hankering for a fish supper.

Excellent food her, quick and efficient service. Some things cooked on order but plenty of signs to say shout up when you enter. Cash only to pay.

Just moved to the area, tried this chippy for first time. Overall very enjoyable, the only criticism was that there was a mushy section to the fish. Chips were great, rest of fish nice a flaky.

Great fish and the best curry sauce around.
Their chips can be hit and miss and sometimes slightly undercooked prices are good and it's amazingly clean ..recommend to anyone in the area
Owner responded - Date was Saturday just gone and the time was approx. 7pm. Service was fantastic as always but the chips needed a little longer - keep up the great work
