Half Moon - Skidby - Photo album

Proper home cooked food. We got roast beef & home made Yorkshire pudding and it was so tasty. Definitely will be going again very soon. The vegetables were cooked perfectly, carrots, cabbage & parsnips yum yum 😋
What a lovely village pub serving amazing food. Ordered starters and main course. Service was excellent , the food was so nice and would recommend. Outdoor area is great with amazing views and dog friendly . 2 starters 2 main and a bottle of wine £50.
A lovely pub. Friendly staff. Food - generous portions and we felt good value for money. Would recommend their Yorkshire puddings. A complete Sunday lunch on a Wednesday 🙂. I had the pork option - included roast and mash potatoes; peas, carrots, leeks, several slices of pork and lashings of gravy.
Fantastic food, great selection of beers, the staff are super friendly and the place is dog friendly! We will definitely be visiting more often 😊
Delicious food with a good choice on the lunch menu. Good value too with main courses around £8.95 - £9.95. I enjoyed an enormous Yorkshire pudding with mince and a selection of vegetables. The gravy was outstanding! A lovely, inviting interior to the pub; looks like it's recently been refurbished.
Food arrived hot which was good as it was a chilly night - (but the wife’s salad was a little limp after been on gas mark 6 for an hour) , nice tasting and nicely plated and ample servings. Atmosphere was very pleasant, staff very friendly and efficient. Well recommended.
The half moon in Skidby is a proper traditional village pub. It serves a wide selection of beers and lager, including excellent cask conditioned real ales. It has for many years deservedly had an excellent reputation for its food. My family have been coming to this pub for over a hundred years, my g
Delicious food and a lovely country pub. I'd recommend booking in advance. We walked in on a Thursday lunchtime and they kindly accommodated us despite being fully booked. No wonder as the food was 10/10. There is also a big car park and garden, handy for when there is nice weather. Lovely views too
Came here with family...First time for food and was pleasantly surprised. Classic pub meals ...all homemade and tasty. Good service from some very courteous bar staff. Nice cosy pub and some popular quiz and themed nights. Parmo Chicken night is apparently next on the calendar 😋
Called in on the off chance of getting a table. Warm and friendly greeting. Good selection of drinks, good lunch time menu. Highly recommend the Yorkshire Pudding which had an option of fillings. The beef was fantastic. Good local dog friendly pub, fresh home cooked food. Will definitely return.
