My son and I went there today and we really enjoyed our meal and latte. The cream scones were the best we have ever had. The service was excellent and was very friendly and it was very relaxing. Highly recommend a visit

Warm welcome when you enter the cafe. Lots of choices and a good selection of specials. All you could hear whilst browsing the menu was complements about the food from people sat at other tables. These owners must work extremely hard and long hours to achieve the quality of food which I saw today. By the way the carrot cake was to die for. I would strongly recommend a visit if your in the area.

Helene's Tea Room serves up a perfect combination. A warm, friendly welcome from owners whom, if you aren't already best friends, you leave feeling like the best of friends, with a commitment to providing locally sourced, prudently priced and passionately produced food. Helene's Tea Room should change absolutely nothing about their recipes, their service, their quirky crockery, their belief in keeping food pricing sensible for all budgets and especially their 'joie de vivre' in everything they do. In changing nothing, it will only be a matter of time until Helene's Tea Room becomes the official No.1 Cafe in Skipton.

Thought we'd just pop in for a cuppa & bite to eat, they had just stopped serving food when we arrived, it wasn't a problem as we'd already decided to have cream tea if the did them. We sat at a table near the window and coffees & cream tea was delivered with in 5 mins of ordering. The tea room is quite small but we think there is space down starirs? The tea room is bright, clean and cheerful. Not over staffed for the amount of tables in the little room we sat in. Plenty of thing to choose from off the boards and all the cakes are homemade. The scone ,clotted cream with delicious jam was small but it made up by the taste, lite and moist scones, lovely tasting jam ( homemade ? ). The coffees came nice and hot. They came in some lovely china beakers and plates. The price was £6 for 2 coffees & 2 scones, clotted cream, jam We would pop back in next time we visit Skipton

Me and my mum visited today for the first time and it was a lovely experience! They were so busy with a coach trip and still kept such a lovely and warm attitude. We were both very happy and will definitely be visiting again.

A lovely little tea room/cafe serving great food and coffee. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. They were lovely with my little boy. There is a play area downstairs and room to change a baby. The toasties are recommended. A handy place to grab some food before/after a canal boat trip as it is just opposite

I have been visiting the tearoom for years, Helene and Janet do a fantastic job. I recently won a Facebook competition for a breakfast for two including tea or coffee. I went today and claimed the winnings. The breakfast was lovely coming from lancashire we have great black pudding (bury black pudding) However here it is a local butchers and wow it was delightful solid 11 out of 10. We had a choice of white brown or seeded bread for the toast( I love the choices) the sausage and bacon are also from the butchers it was all very nice. Helene has advised there is a new menu coming soon and it looks for have some really nice options so I'm looking forward to the next visit. Also wanted to shout out to layla which is a young lass who works at the tea room her attitude to work is so refreshing for a girl her age, she is a little work horse!! She always has a smile on her face and is very attentive and very polite!! I love a visit to Helene's. We didn't have cake today but the carrot cake is also 10/10 I usually choose this when I'm there.

Had a cheese and ham toasty which came with vegetable crisps, salad and coleslaw and finished off with carrot cake and a gingerbread coffee. The food was absolutely delicious and the portions were large. Atmosphere friendly and cosy and the price very reasonable. Will definitely make this a regular place to visit when out in Skipton 😊

We were in Skipton around lunchtime and happened to see Helene's Tea Room, we decided to give it a try and we were so glad we did. This place is a real gem. The food was delicious, well prepared, home cooked and very reasonably priced too. This is obviously a family owned and run place, they are tucked out of the way and easy to pass by but most certainly well worth a try, next time we are in Skipton we will definitely be going back, might try their breakfast next time, looks delicious 😋

What an absolutely amazing tea room, just off the main streets of Skipton My friend & I called in after seeing the sign board when leaving the canal path Very welcoming, good choice of food & drink. We ordered a sandwich each & a coffee, we're shocked with the amount of food on our plates. Everything was fresh & tasty, shame we didn't have room for one of the homemade cakes...maybe next time

We cycled from our motorhome in Gargrave to Skipton along the tow path. Needing a cup of tea and cake we came across Helen's Tea Room. It is lovely. Helen's Mum served us with amazing cake and perfect tea and coffee. We highly recommend a visit. And the background music is unobtrusive
