Just went for lunch day after mother's day. No cactus on Menu so had the Ox cheek and Poutine. Partner had Moroccan Eggs. Both dishes where lovely
Had a lovely brunch here with my wife and our friend. Fantastic welcome from the attentive and friendly staff. Menu is broad but not overwhelming, with options for all tastes.
Coffee is high quality and made for those who appreciate a very good cup.
Food was made by people who care about flavour and pesentation, and you can see and taste the freshness and quality of the ingredients.
The service was quick and easy, and felt tended to, but not pressured. Atmosphere is lovely, with super chill music and pleasant decoration.
Overall; clean, tasty, sensible prices and lovely people. Will 100% go back.
Cactus tacos was amazing, as was the mango matcha latte! Service was really good too!
The Nom is a lovely place with first class staff and management. The food is very good and the place is kept clean. The only small hitch is the very heavy furniture in the bar. It suits the surroundings but is simply too unwieldy for the space available. I still love the place though.
We were in the area for a day out and decided to stop for brunch here. The staff were amazingly friendly and the vibe was very cosy and relaxed. Meal portions were extremely generous and super tasty, would definitely recommend!
Super Friendly service, the staff couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. The food was delicious and really well presented. Really cosy atmosphere and well decorated.
Fabulous atmosphere, very relaxing, great choice on both the food and drinks menu.
The service was very friendly, efficient and professional, we had a lovely afternoon relaxing over lunch. This was our first visit and we will definitely be going back with family and friends.
After a canal side walk. Dropped in for lunch.
Really warm welcome, great service and an excellent menu.
Well cooked and presented food.
Highly recommended.
Would have given it 4.5 star if I could; however felt closer to 5 rather than 4 stars.
Great cafe. Loved the ambience.
Across the road street parking for several hours which was handy.
Staff were exceptional and attentive.
However, food was all right 7/10. Loves the mango matcha. Menu quite extensive and would cater for a lot of people. Will have to try other food items on the menu.
Also; didn’t really like that you have to prepay your bookings (sometimes life gets in the way and you can’t cancel in advance).
Been meaning to try this place for years and finally did today. Fabulous fresh food and the nicest serving staff you could ask for. Top notch.
Really wonderful little place. They have an amazing menu and it is really worth what you pay for what you get. The food was beautiful quality, it was so good! Highly recommend the sweet and salty sandwich, it's to die for! My partner had the pancakes and he really enjoyed them too! Can't wait to go back again!
Popped in here for lunch on a day visit to Slaithwaite. Would highly recommend! Lovely staff and vibe. Matcha latte was real Matcha and made perfectly, food was delicious. Lots of inventive food choices with interesting flavours. Would love to try out the rest of the menu.
Thank you!
Welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Great service. Fresh and delicious food, with options for everyone! The staff were really accommodating for gluten free. Had a lovely Sunday morning brunch here, highly recommend.
I love the old Lancashire and Yorkshire towns so ventured out to Slaithwaite.
I’d read reviews of Om Is Where the Heart Is so decided to brunch there.
The place was busy with a warm atmosphere and I was immediately greeted by the manager.
Smiles, eye contact, professional, welcoming and immediately engaging.
I had to wait for 5mins for a table to become available.
Once the previous patrons vacated the table was spritzed and sprayed and thoroughly cleaned before I was invited to sit there.
I ordered a flat white whilst perusing the menu.
OIWTHI has a varied menu.
Yes there are the usual staples but also various imaginative offerings too.
My coffee arrived and I was ready to order.
My server was a young lady called Grace.
Again that excellent engaging & confident customer service. Smiles, chat and a cracking sense of humour.
Grace taught me how to pronounce “Slaithwaite “ correctly. “Slawit”apparently.
She suggested an accompanying side of avocado . Who can resist a little bit of up selling? Good on ya Grace
The food arrived. Yes I went for a “staple” as I didn’t have my adventurous head on. Eggs Benny.
The tastiest bacon, eggs cooked to perfection and the sauces fresh, homemade and delicious.
I did not leave as much as a skerrick on the plate.
I asked the manager for the bill and got into another chat.
I mentioned the excellent service that Grace had offered and I said, “She’s good”.
The manager then informed me that today is Grace’s FIRST DAY!! Wow! You would have never have guessed. She’s a natural.
Kudos to you Grace. Keep on doing what you’re doing
I have to say that the whole team were full of smiles and genuinely engaged in their roles and just couldn’t do enough for you.
I had a lovely experience here and look forward to my next sojourn to “Slawit”
Thank you all for making me feel at Om.
Met my old friend for brunch. The food was delicious and the staff are very friendly. Could do with being a bit warmer but a lovely atmosphere.
Loaf Is All You Need - perfect brunch. Staff welcoming and attentive. Lots of choice for brunch and food throughout the day. I visted around 10:30 on a Thursday and secured the last table. I have visited for drinks before, but this was my first visit for food. I can easily award 5 stars - although secretly want to keep it a secret as it is already a busy place. I will definitely be back hope to actually try the yoga studio next time too. Thanks for the fantastic visit 😁
Mmmmm, been here a few times now. It's still great but not as good. Service is impeccable and lovely and friendly as always. Great variety on drink options than the 'norm'.
This time I had the Croque madame on the Specials board which was very tasty and discovered later very salty but I had a fight with the sourdough, bit too crusty this time. If only they would have other bread options I was thinking..... And also everything is a bit eggy. I love eggs but.....
My daughter couldn't choose anything because she's a bit fussy anyway but went with the club sandwich, not a great choice when she has a full set of braces!! Mum loved the Caesar salad though and they were very accommodating when she wanted to take the bacon and croutons out!!!! My feedback was taken appreciatively about the bread Come on Om different bread options or more meals without bread!!! I'll be back when you do.
Always great, Ellie and the team are always super welcoming, the food and portions are superb, only ever had one bad experience, and that was my own fault!
My only criticism would be for them to change the menu up a little, but that's being really harsh as I've eaten most things and they always have interesting specials on.
Go, it's excellent, you won't regret it and if you don't like it, you know nowt about food!
