Thank you so much for the beautiful meal just before Christmas! You looked after us so well and the attention to detail was impressive! Beautiful food, great service and could not rate your 'allergy menu' more highly! Looking forward to returning!
Thank you to all the staff for being very accommodating with our meal request today, the food was lovely and the portions were brilliant for my mum who can only eat small amounts. At last we have found somewhere that caters for people with eating problems, will certainly be frequenting the restaurant regularly . Thank you all for being so compassionate.
What an excellent night at the Brass Windmill. The curry night was fantastic. The chefs from the Bombay Brassiere were top notch and the way my wife was accommodated with her off menu choices was very much appreciated. A very big thank you to all the staff tonight. I know we’ll be back.
Attended for a meal as part of a large group. Food is good value, large portions that are well priced. The double steak and cheese bacon burger is a monster, although I wasn't over keen on the brioche bun, it was quite tough and stodgy. The staff were very friendly and attentive.
Men's toilets were in need of refurbishment, they have a curtain up at the main door instead of a door and have blocked the windows with fabric. But they were clean.
Id definetly call in again if I was passing.
Lovely food well presented service was lovely a pub to go to. Atmosphere was great very friendly and local to travel to. 😊👍
Fab little pub with great good and really friendly staff.
Excellent Open Mic Night, showcasing local talent! Quick drink service, and fun banter with regulars
Great village local, lovely warm welcome from the first day I stepped foot inside. Not like some local pubs that instantly you feel like an outsider, there's a log burner, pool tables dartboards "bullsh*t corner" is a funny touch too.
Cheap meals/bar food for the family, cheap drinks at prices you would expect to pay in say a working mens club rather than a bar.
Overall its a great place to unwind, listen to the very very varied tastes of music on the jukebox and throw some arrows or shoot some pool.
Shut on Wednesdays as google doesn't appear to have this correct on many locals lately
This review is for the food but I forgot to take a picture..
The Sunday dinner was fantastic home cooked food, the best mash I’ve had and potatoes are never my favourite thing on the plate! Very buttery and full of flavour.
We had beef at £10, a fantastic price.. it was the hottest Sunday dinner I’ve had and there wa plenty of veg cooked to perfection.
There was a home cooked apple crumble on the n pudding menu but it had sold out… maybe we’ll get there earlier when we revisit 😊
A no frills traditional pub with friendly staff, well worth a dinner if you’re in the area.
Oh yeah. There was a large beer garden which potentially could be lovely to sit and eat in the summer. There’s an undercover area out there with a large log burner, very appealing for those evenings where you want to sit outside and eat but the British weather can’t quite tempt you on its own.
Sorry, should have taken pics… nx time 😇
Great little country pub. Family run very friendly. Bit of a wait for food but the restaurant was booked out for private party so it was very busy. Worth waiting for though. Good portions and value for money. Definitely a place we'll go back to.
Always perfect! Fantastic Sunday dinners even for me as a veggie! Highly recommended.
Small pub with dart board, friendly staff
Really, really good.
It's just a small place with a pretty cheap menu, but the food was absolutely delicious. I had the gammon, and it was perfect.
The staff were friendly and accommodating, the service was good, and the locals were friendly.
There's also a games room with a darts board and a pool table.
