Quirky little pub but what an amazing night I had, Broken stix were rocking the joint. It was packed with regulars everyone knows everyone the landlord and landlady are amazingly caring to their vulnerable customers making sure they get home safely in a taxi. Sad that so many of our original locals have been closed.

I had my first visit today (August 1st) since I moved to the area last October and I have to say. I will definitely return. The customers, the staff and the Landlord (Leonard) made myself and my girlfriend feel very welcome and like we'd been regulars for years. I can't fault this venue for the friendly reception we received upon arrival. The Beer Garden is pleasant, well looked after and generally a nice place to be. Well done Leonard and Kerrie and the rest of the team. I found a new local!!!

Friends and family got to celebrate the life of an old friend who we all used to frequent with here! Landlord and staff went above and beyond! Precious moments! Thank you!

Great little hole in the wall! Beers are cold and a good place to watch the game. Kids welcome until 8pm. Juke box, pool and darts are available. Only down fall is no food, but if you’re looking to get your thirst quenched this is your place.

God I miss this pub . It was my last U.K. local before I moved to Australia. Great great boozer . Friendly staff , good slightly mad locals . The amount of cracking nights I Had down there bloody hell I could write a book . Saw , unfortunately many landlords come and go but the locals always stayed . I used to , badly run the pub quiz on Wednesday night which was fun . As a pub goes , as I've, before my move to Australia, been a local in many, many boozers , the Wheatsheaf is one of the best . As I said at the beginning god I miss this pub.

My husband, son and me had the most wonderful roast lunch here, proper home cooked pub grub. Everyone was very welcoming, staff and customers alike.

A magnifenct evening was had by all. The drinks flowed and the jukebox pumped out favourites from yesteryears hit parade. Even an old lady pissing herself in the corner didn't dampen our spirits and the innkeep handled the situation efficiently and with decorum.
