Gloof Coffee Shop

This relatively new cafe is located near the centre of Soham. I was with a bunch of eight cyclists when we visited this bright, airy and clean cafe. The staff we're welcoming and helpful. As suggested by it's name, the cafe aimed at people with special dietary needs. As I don't have these needs I marked the cafe down by star, this may or may not be fair to you but it is a personal view. There was an attractive array of vittles on the counter. My order was for a caffe latte, a scone and jam and the sticky ginger cake shown in the photo. All were great except the cake which had a slightly weird taste, probably because it was vegan and I'm not used to it. My cycling friends seem to be happy too. The food and drink took a little longer to deliver than I would have liked, but not excessively so. The prices were reasonable. I don't go to Soham very often, but I will be happy to Gloof when I visit next.
