Just recently discovered this chip shop as new to the area and it certainly didn't disappoint. Beautiful cod (I'm really fussy when it comes to the fish!) and a good portion of chips. Really lovely couple who own it. It will definitely be my regular chippy!

Wow.. hadn’t been back here in a long time and now I’m wondering why not. We ordered fish & chips, doner kebab and doner burger. Chips were made in fresh oil tasted amazing, doner meat tasted great and the price for quality food was very reasonable. Thank you guys, I could see everyone was under pressure because it was busy but trust me people will wait for quality, I’ve been in the food industry for over 20 years and with experienced staff and good teamwork things will become much easier, sometimes you just need to let them get on with it. Keep it up and I’ll see you soon x

Lovely people and great service, love their fish and chips.
Regular chips is a really good portion. Also, love the way they wrap the fish around a plastic wrapper and then paper. That way the fish doesn't stick to the paper.

Great Fish & Chip shop, with the best kebabs in the area, sparkling clean shop as all Greek/Cypriot places usually are, the service is friendly but sometimes can be slow going even during the week when quiet! Our family hopes Mr Nico will start opening back up on Monday evenings too.

I ordered fish and chips from here and kebab. The fish and chips was the best I've ever had in my life. Everything was fresh. There was a bit of a wait time but to be honest I should have mentioned on the phone earlier I live above a shop so I can be tricky to find. The food was nicely wrapped and hot upon arrival.

Great name for a fish bar lol but on a serious note we just ordered from here (October 13th 2022) and the food was great, very generous portions as well. I'd definitely recommend to anyone and we will be ordering again.

The cleanest chip shop I’ve seen in years. We went in today for a mixture of fish and chips and different kebab options for a couple of fussy kids. Separate salads, different sauce combos etc. All done with a smile. The food was top quality and very well presented. Having tried lots of shops in the Solihull area, I will certainly say Nicos is one of the best.
