Captain D's

I think that Captain D's has found a way to price themselves out of the market. The food tasted perfectly fine, and it was cooked very well also. This particular location has been closed to dine in customers for a while. Now that the dining room is open again I visited for my usual fish and fried clams, but they were out of clams. I was immediately shocked when they asked for the payment, but thought that every business had had to raise prices. Then a few minutes later they delivered my food. I was shocked again to find that the fish is now half the size it used to be. So they've almost doubled the price for half the food...

Order taker cashier was pleasant and knowledgeable. Friendly and very efficient. The food came quickly drinks were cold and the lobby was very clean. I did over hear 2 customers being told they were sitting in the closed off section. Clearly they were bothered by the fact they had to move in the middle of their meal. The employee should put up a rope or a sign saying the area was closed. I'm glad it wasn't me that had to move in the middle of my meal. I wouldn't come back.

Food good. Watch orders to go. Check before you leave you got all you paid for. This happens a lot . Too far to drive back to get it. This has happened a lot. 4- 9 - 22 Tried it again.. It was take out. Food that we got was good. Still missing items . Hush puppies not on one meal. 12.00$ meal. If I pay for it I want it. That's just taking my money. 4 times now. I called back . They offer to give them to me if I drive back up there 40 miles round trip. I felt like the price of the dinner should been taken off my credit card because it wasn't complete. But that didn't happen.

Always enjoyed coming to this restaurant for the best food, but now not as much. One time I went through drive-thru and got my favorite, the 3 piece fish dinner. The fish has changed from better to worse. I like those big pieces of fish, not those slim ones. On another occasion I found a hair in my fish.

This used to be a good restaurant but the last 3 times we've been has really let us down. The green beans taste like they have been fermented in sewage, the portions have been cut by at least 25% and the prices have gone up almost $10. We've been trying our best to be patient with the local food due to the pandemic and worker shortage but there's no excuse for the poor quality here.
