I've been 4 times now, every time has been a pleasure. The staff have been extremely helpful and every time I've had some thing I've never tried before. I've never put anything in my mouth I've not enjoyed, the food is wonderful!!! Tonight my partner and I had 2 courses each, I had 3 pints and she had 2 G&T's for less than £63 and neither of us could of eaten a 3rd course. If you've never been before you have got to try it.

Amazing! The food is perfect & the staff are so lovely. To be able to eat out somewhere you trust when you have allergies is priceless! Can not recommend the place or the people enough! Thank you millions!

We have just got back from celebrating my 30th birthday. Large family including 2 babies and 3 toddlers - the food provided was absolutely delicious - the kids loved theirs and the staff could not have been more helpful! Can not recommend Hope and Anchor highly enough!

We have been several times for lunch or dinner but visited yesterday with friends for one of their special offers for dinner, bed and breakfast. We can highly recommend it. Pure indulgence - excellent service, hospitality, food and beverages from walking in the door yesterday afternoon to leaving this morning. We will be back!

Had a fabulous midday meal there today with our daughter, son in law and granddaughter. Our little granddaughter coloured a picture of Peppa Pig as a chef and asked the waitress to please give it to the chef. A lovely young man appeared with her dessert from the kitchen with the picture pinned to his apron to thank her for the colouring! How nice of him. Staff were wonderful...food was excellent. We shall return!

Excellent food and a lovely, warm atmosphere. We went for a Valentine’s Evening meal and the food was exquisite. I had a beautiful pollock fillet with wakame and a bacon and potato rosti- delicious! Thank you for a lovely evening, Hope & Anchor.

What a find!! We visited the Hope & Anchor on a gloriously sunny Friday evening and we were lucky enough to find a table outside. The food was fantastic and the views were lovely. The staff were amazing and very attentive and we were made very welcome. My only point would be the ability to book an outdoor table would be a huge plus point going forward.

Unassuming from the outside however it is an absolute gem. The food is lovely and service prompt, don't forget to order some sides with your meal. Definitely worth a visit

We’ve had several meals at the Hope & Anchor pub recently. We love the views out over the Humber, and beautiful sunsets if you are lucky! There are several dining areas in this popular gastro pub, but we prefer the conservatory, and the dining room overlooking the outside decking - these give the best views over the water. The menu changes with the seasons, including “whole animal projects”. Vegetarians and vegans are catered for, and there is also a choice of seafood and fish if this is more to your taste. Prices are on the upper side, but the quality is good. Some people have said that portions are not generous but we haven’t found that.

Stayed one night in a double room. Unfortunately the bed was a small double and the bathroom was a bit small. But on the whole the accommodation is clean and nice. The restaurant was very good although a little pricey

Only been once just for a meal with my girlfriend and we were pleasantly surprised. A nice welcome and an excellent meal. If you like your meat and your seafood, I don't think you will be disappointed! Interesting location with a nice view of the Estuary. We need to visit again.

Went for the father's day set menu, the food was incredible and definitely reflects the price, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the food did take a while to be prepared but it was incredibly busy at the time. Overall a fantastic Pub, amazing food, a little pricey but definitely worth it.

Wow wow wow. This is the best dinning experience I've ever had. Went for our wedding anniversary. Service outstanding. Recommend Chicken schnitzel, chateaubriand, haddock and cheese board. Great atmosphere and stunning views!

Stayed here multiple times. Rooms are very cosy. Bennoit has been very welcoming and accommodating every time I stayed here. The bar serves delicious cocktails, and the food in the restaurant is exemplary. I have sampled most items on their menu and loved every single one. The Whole Pig Project is a must try. The charcuterie is homemade and features different styles of cured meat. The truffle mashed potatoes is a must order side dish. The lobster and fillet steak surf and turf was also lovely.

Didn't know what to expect, but had heard good things from friends. Whilst portion sizes are not large, the quality and standard of food being served is unbelievable for the price. I had the pork Lazoc which was perfect, followed by sticky toffee pudding. Everyone's dish served to our party had a certain 'je ne sais quoi' that elevates each dish. It is such a privilege to have such quality in the region, in such a relaxed environment. It was packed out on a Wednesday night, in South Ferriby - which is excellent and is clearly hitting the mark for many. Will return and return again after that.

Food on another level, great price for the standard of food on offer. Local ales and good selection of wines and other drinks available

Excellent beer from the local brewery, good knowledgeable service and top quality food just don't expect a man size pub grub plateful for some dishes + it's a bit more refined than standard fare.
