Staff were amazing and friendly and couldn't do enough for you. The food was great and the rooms were great value for money, clean and well finished. Will definitely be booking again if were in the area.
Fab evening here as a pubstopover in van. Staff friendly and helpful as I couldn't make last orders for food so rang ahead with my food order and it was ready waiting when I arrived. Really appreciated that after a very long drive. Sat out in the garden until closing.

Brilliant food, called in for the classic car and bike show and despite being busy food was very good served quickly , and very reasonably priced. Will come back for a proper evening meal 🤗

Absolutely can't go wrong. Beautifully decorated with consistently good food every time (we come here often and we ALWAYS leave full and happy). Reasonable prices for a plate of proper food. Also highly recommend Gav's beers! Definitely a top notch venue for those over 18 (or accompanied by an adult

Best pub in our area. Always friendly, brews his own brilliant beer. Food is great and reasonably priced. Has definitely got the fundamental right for what a proper pub should be! Definitely not a youth club!!!

We have just had a great stay here well worth a visit. The rooms, food & beer are great value, The rooms are super clean and comfy, nothing was to much trouble for the staff. We had a meal in the bar & it was great, and the chips !! Wow the chips

A lovely warm setting with a genuinely lovely team of staff. There is now a great range of locally brewed ales, the red is a great session ale too.
I have on good authority the food is worth a bite or two.
A nice pub that has everything you're after if you're looking to stop over for a nights stay or two. Me and my colleague booked a room and enjoyed our time here. Great Pub with friendly service.
