Had breakfast there one morning and then dinner and a few beers. Spent most of the night on the pool table and chatting to the local characters. Food was excellent, beer nice and chilled, staff and locals nice people. A GREAT NIGHT.

Great wee boozer, friendly staff and customers, even welcoming to this random Edinburgh guy who's walked from the next village(me). Had a great chat and wee laugh with the guys, then obligatory nip for the walk. Very clean looking and nice pint, thanks. Will see you soon P.s cash only, which most wee pub frequenters know, why I always carry a little

Sunday breakfasts well worth it here. Always tastes great and no complaints from the little people so recommend it to anyone who can’t be bothered making breakfast one morning.

A great place to grab a coffee or lunch! Very reasonably priced. Good food and friendly staff. Could do with low level lighting, though, free standing or table lamps in the corners as the overhead lighting is harsh and cold. Low level lighting gives a warmer ambiance. Otherwise, great, and I go there often, after walking the dogs. My granddaughter is well catered for there too.

The lobster thermidor was exquisite as was the champagne and raspberry possets and a bottle of Dom perignon was very reasonable. Staff were very well turned out in there tops and tails and very attentive and polite. Only negative was a guy at the bar I think they called Dave, I believe his nickname was Corak, he spoke in a language I could only describe as other worldly and he had a dark sinister look in his eyes, we were told not to engage or make eye contact as he can do things.... Other than that most pleasant!
