We ate here last week. It was the best dining experience we'd had for a long time. The place had such a friendly atmosphere. The two guys who ran it were so nice. ....and the food was superb. My friends had fish pie, which they both said was the best they'd ever had. My beef and ale pie was so good.......The trifle was the best ever. I could go on...but thank you for making it a really nice evening experience.
First visit to South Molton for an age and happend upon this beautiful gem. Sitting in the tranquility of the courtyard as we had the best puppy in the world with us, we chose the Devon cream tea. It was superb, what is very rare these days that there is enough clotted cream for a Devon lad like myself, there was actually ample! A couple of charming ladies were having the cooked breakfast near our table which looked amazing, we will be sure to try that on our next visit. The young man who took our order was marvelously humorous and the young lady who bought out our food and drinks was likewise full of fun. After this discovery, we shall be sure to visit South Molton habitually again.
Today was our 4th visit to Stumbles, we live in Bideford, not a great distance to travel, but worth the drive. Never been disappointed, service, staff and food amazing. We’ll be back very soon for our next brilliant meal. Thank you Stumbles 👍
Great little bistro that meets the needs of today's society,a lovely find that offers intimate dining with a delightful atmosphere, bridging the gap between pub and more formal dining. Excellent choice of food, beautifully presented and the service was excellent, can highly recommend Stumbles
We enjoyed sitting in the sunny courtyard and having lunch .
Simple baked potato with prawns and salad garnish .
Generous portions, well presented , fairly priced . Friendly helpful service .

It was very busy in the main restaurant but as it was a sunny day the courtyard was fine .
I called up to enquire on availability for lunch and the guy on the phone was really helpful and we booked straight away, when we arrived the host went out of his way to help my father choose a meal he was happy with and I appreciated to no end, the beef lasagna was absolutely amazing, my brother had the tuna mayo Sandwich and that was amazing too, to top it all off father had the steak and he couldn't be happier, thanks so much for looking after us and we will be back again!
I dined outside in the courtyard area on a warm, sunny evening with my dog and it was lovely 🙂 ☀️
The service was friendly and professional and the food was absolutely delicious - Meditteranean Vegetable Lasagne followed by White Chocolate & Raspberry Cheesecake 👌🙂
Lovely dining experience, with friendly and helpful staff. Great coffee, enjoyed in a lovely outdoor setting, where dogs are welcome.
Had a great breakfast. Service was brilliant as always. Definitely coming back yet again
