Had a very nice meal here on Saturday evening. Service was excellent- very friendly and the setting very nice. There was bar along the way which was showing the rugby but it didn't disturb us in the restaurant which was good. An eclectic menu with daily specials. All starters and mains were fully enjoyed. Good wine/drinks selection and very reasonably priced. The only slight disappointment was the dessert. We all decided on the sticky toffee pudding which was OK but really like a microwaved one you buy from a supermarket. This could definitely be improved- vanilla ice cream was good. This didn't spoil what was a very enjoyable evening!

Went here with a friend yesterday after a walk over the bridge. Really amazing decor, food was amazing, probably the best haggis neeps and tatties I’ve ever had (I chose a small plate as wasn’t particularly hungry). The bill came to less than we were expecting as we were worried the decor would reflect a higher price but it was great value!

We only stopped off for a quick drink before continuing on our journey but would definitely eat in the restaurant if we're in the area again. The bar decor was fabulous and the view was simply amazing. Outside seating available which we made the most of as the sun was shining. The staff were lovely. I highly recommended stopping off at Thirty Knots if you're visiting Queensferry.

Went here for the first time tonight to celebrate my parents anniversary and both their birthdays. The decor is lovely, atmosphere was lively but not noisy. Gorgeous views of the sun setting over the Firth of Forth. Staff were welcoming, friendly and on the ball, always checking we were okay and if we needed anything. Service very quick for drinks and food. The food itself was absolutely delicious! One of the best fish and chips we've had and good portion sizes for starters, sides, and mains. However, reason I knocked a star of is because the desserts are not value for money, drinks are also pricey. The desserts were delicious, but the portion sizes are small for the price. Almost £8 for a small slice of chocolate cake and £9 for a sundae which had about two scoops of ice cream in it. Honestly, it is quite an expensive eat out. However, we did really enjoy our food and drinks and the staff could not have been more lovely. We would come back but only on a special occasion and when prepared to spend quite a bit for a meal.

Left the cruise ship to get a view up close of the Forth Bridge. This terrace did not disappoint us! Beautiful views on a lovely day. The food was wonderful too. I've never thought of adding capers to my fish & chips. An idea I'll bring home. DH had the chicken special which was spicy and very good. The onion rings were the best we've had on this vacation.

Nice place and table seating was quick but initial service slow. Waited 10 minutes to get a drink and had to stop a waiter to be served. 20 minutes wait between 1st and main course. Same with desert given the menu then staff disappeared. Unfortunately sat next to kitchen door which was noisy. Don't think the table should be there at all. Overall I would recommend this place but would want better service on next visit

Absolutely wonderful food, perfect views and they supply suncream.... what a lovely spot. The "King Rib supper" was delicious. The wee pickled onions and the lime juice cut through the richness of the dish beautifully. I ate more of it than I should have and enjoyed every bite.

The menu was very promising. Firstly the food: Good points. Generous portion size, exciting choices. Mussels were awesome. Bad points. Didn't live up to expectations. A little on the expensive side. Unfortunately we had softshell crab, which was served deep fried in a chewy batter, and it simply was not nice to eat. Service: only good. Friendly, informal and very attentive. The manager removed the cost of the crab off the bill and offered us alternatives. I was incredibly impressed with his attitude, and all the staff who dealt with us. I'll go back, and hopefully next time, our experience with the food will be better.

Great food excellent service overlooking one of the most iconic views in the world. We both had two courses and they were amazing. Food to die for! Please go try this place.

The food here was delicious!! We both opted for an open top sandwich, one prawn and the other beef, gherkin and mustard. It was absolutely amazing, so filling. There are gorgeous views from the windows that look over the bridges, and the decor is super funky and bright. It wasn't unreasonably expensive as far as lunch went and spent approx £35 for two open sandwiches (with either chips or soup), an espresso and two soft drinks. There is a compulsory service charge of 10% too, regardless of your table size.

Food was delicious and we had a fabulous view across the bridges from our inside table. Table service was good, although they forgot one main course side, but quickly rectified, and everyone in our group of 5 commented how enjoyable their meal was. Only downside is parking and I have removed a couple of stars for this alone as it's a real inconvenience in somewhere as busy as SQ at the weekend or on a sunny day as it was when we arrived. Although the place states it has its own parking for customers only we found the last space in their car park taken just before us by some random group who then went to sit in the next again restaurant and we then had to subsequently park over 1/2 mile outside of main South Queensferry. We pointed this out when we eventually arrived as we were now slightly late for our booked table time but it seems there is very little they can do about it. Maybe introduce some vehicle registration system for pre booked customers?

Quite a nice relaxed atmosphere since the revamp. A separate vegan menu with interesting choices but went for the Mac n Cheese. Could have been a bit saucier but had a tasty cheesey topping.

Came for brunch on Sunday. Large group. The service was perfectly attentive and efficient. Server was polite and friendly. The food was delicious, filling and great value for money. Had a look at the dinner menu and that looked very enticing too. Lovely family atmosphere with comfortable seating. Definitely recommend.

Another cracking meal in Queensferry in this cosy restaurant with lots of outside dining places but as it was late October we decided to go for the warmth inside , excellent service all night and the food was sensational , I had the King Rib supper which was slow cooked pork in a char sui glaze with katsu ketchup and skin on fries while the gf had the coconut chilli chicken , beautifully presented and so tasty , well recommended

Really enjoyed the ambiance, the decor was really enjoyable but over all the food was really good. I had a take on the old King Rib supper, that was very tasty. Also I would like to add, the service was second to none. Highly recommended, loved it.

Food and service were outstanding on our visits to Thirty Kotts. Much better than Scotts. The ambience is lovely and our server, Cameron, went above and beyond.

Beautiful Sunday after noon walk and came across this lovely outdoor dining restaurant overlooking the Queens Ferry Bridge. Food was great. I had the king ribs that melted in my mouth. Presentation was just as nice. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed a salted caramel sundae with piece of fudge. Our waitress Charlotte was very sweet and attentive. Thank you for your kindness.
