Amazing experience for a birthday lunch! Found on tiktok whilst scrolling and decided to try it out. Amazing food and service and Manu our waitress was absolutely lovely. They took our requests and ensured food was delivered timely. Some of the best naan and kulche we have had! Will definitely visit again!

Overall food was not excellent but was good in taste. Daal makhni, baigan bharta was really good in taste and panner was okish. But in every dish there was a sour taste of extra tomato gravy. I will give this restaurant an another try, because of its organic taste in every bite.

We had an awesome experience at Raunka! Very fun decor, great food and fantastic service by the host. Food was fantastic - very authentic taste. The stuffed kulchas were delicious. As were the curries. The daal makhni was lovely! We got more to take home! 😀 And the owner stopped by more than once to make sure we were enjoying the dinner.

Flavourful, fresh food. The restaurant also accommodates personal tastes. Food here has a lovely home made feel and taste. Staff go out of their way to assist you. Family run small business where we had a great night. Thank you to our waitress Gagan who took good care of us. Parking in the area is free after 6:30pm.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Raunaka Punjab Diyan, an exquisite Indian restaurant that left a lasting impression on me. From the moment I stepped foot inside, I was greeted by a warm and inviting ambiance that set the tone for a delightful evening. However, what truly made my experience exceptional was the presence of Deepu, a remarkable member of the restaurant staff whose light-hearted nature and sense of humor added an extra touch of joy to my visit. Deepu's jovial personality and witty remarks created an atmosphere filled with laughter and enjoyment. His infectious enthusiasm and genuine warmth made me feel welcome and instantly at ease. Throughout the evening, Deepu's attentive service and exceptional knowledge of the menu were evident, ensuring that every aspect of my dining experience was nothing short of perfect. Now, let's talk about the food. Raunaka Punjab Diyan is a treasure trove of authentic Indian flavors. Each dish I tried showcased the culinary expertise and passion that goes into their preparations. From the rich and aromatic curries to the perfectly cooked tandoori delicacies, every bite was a revelation of tantalizing spices and exquisite taste. The menu offered a wide variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, catering to diverse palates. The restaurant's commitment to quality was evident in the fresh ingredients used, as well as the impeccable presentation of every dish. The flavors were well-balanced, and the portion sizes were generous, leaving me both satisfied and longing for more. Raunaka Punjab Diyan truly succeeded in capturing the essence of Punjabi cuisine, transporting my taste buds to the vibrant streets of India. Overall, my dining experience at Raunaka Punjab Diyan was exceptional, thanks in large part to the delightful presence of Deepu. His light-hearted nature, sense of humor, and impeccable service added an extra layer of enjoyment to an already fantastic evening. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking an authentic Indian culinary experience, coupled with warm hospitality. Whether you're a fan of Indian cuisine or simply looking to try something new, Raunaka Punjab Diyan will not disappoint.

If you have craving for some good Indian food and missing the highways dhaba from up north indian roads then this is the place for you. It’s just outside the southhall and the ambience have so much reminiscence of dhaba’s. We been served by Sunil there only waiter and by the owner himself(as they dont have much staffs) and they been really good, polite and friendly. If you are a chitty chatty person, just talk to the onwer and he tells you every weird stories like how old is the bullet parked inside, paintings on the walls and stories behind it and so on. The food no doubt, they are one of the finest and tandoori chicken oh god just so right( they way i liked it) soft and juicy. I would definitely recommend having Kulcha(we ordered aaloo n onion mixed which is not on their menu), bhindi masala, chicken butter masala, dal makhani and definitely have is makhe di roti & sarso da saag. Most of their items are so popular that they are gone very early, so do check with them while ordering. Overall it is a very nice place to be with family or friends, it doesn’t dent your wallet too, it is reasonably priced. One of the best part is their BYOB(bring your own booze). P.S: they play loud indian music so some one, who wants peace while eating ignore it, everyone else enjoy it.

It was a lovely place to dine in. Full punjabi vibe and lovely songs. Food is very authentic and tasty, it did satisfies the taste bud. On road parking is usually available. We had a good time there. It is a good time pass to read the menu while waiting for the order. The owner is a friendly person. He played karaoke and most of the customers sang along. Good environment and lovely evening to spend. Saturdays are special as they plan the punjabi dance and lots of singing.

Amazing! Amazing! Amazing! The restaurant is just incredible. I've never seen such a cultured restaurant with live entertainment and music, but it doesn't stop their. Raunka Punjab Diyan goes the extra mile to building a good rapport with their customers and make all their food fresh! Me and my family came here and we had such a lovely time!
Hema Gadhvana
I found the service appalling, had to remind the staff many times to bring drinks. The food was awful, salty and the mixed grill had no flavour - meat was undercooked!!! Some of our friends felt ill the next day. Only good thing about this place was the paintings on the wall.

Amazing staff wow food totally in awe
Gurdeep Kaur Seth
We hated it! The food wasn’t nice at all.. the tandoori chicken wasn’t cooked well, when we tried to tell the staff the chef walked out.. speaking in his loudest tone that he has bought fresh chicken and we should come to the kitchen to see. No apology or care was shown towards us. The lamb didn’t taste right either. Overall, except the theme which is probably the main attraction the food was very unsatisfactory.
Jasdeep Singh
The food here was amazing! We got the chicken makhni, gol guppe, bhangra chops (lamb chops), daal makhni, amritsari machchi. Everything was well prepared and tasted delicious. Also Raj, the owner, was extremely friendly. Ive never met anyone more passionate about their food and restaurant. Every decoration in the restaurant has a story, from the paintings to the motorcycle even the smallest item in the back. He talked to us for hours after the store closed and enjoyed each story we told. Point at anything in the restaurant and ask him what it is and you'll be surprised by the answers and stories.

We went to this place searching for authentic Punjabi cuisine and I must say it was a success. The food was extremely tasty especially the starters( tandoori and malai tikka)., butter chicken. The presentation was equally good. Last but not the least the service compliments the food to complete our delightful experience. The way Gurjeet (chef) was always there to guide us through the choice of menu, explaining the cuisine and taking care in a homely manner which is really appreciated. I am looking forward to return soon.

We had heard about this punjabi food place in Southall and thought of checking this out and thus following was our experience-
Food- I have mixed reviews for the food piece. We ordered for their chat(This was super delicious, very fresh and crunchy), the mango lassi was equally good.
The bread (Amtitsari stuffed kulcha, aaloo paratha, Jahangiri Naan) all tasted divine.
The makke is roti was just alright, sarso da saag was quite bitter.
The amritsari fish was good, felt the batter was freshly made
The sides, baingan ka bhartha ( The baigan was not properly cooked, didn’t like it), Kaali daaal was good
Customer service- Prompt and friendly
Ambience- Basic ambience with an punjabi touch. They wanted to recreate the village decor
Value for money- Moderately priced

Gurjant Singh
we were recommended to try this restaurant by our cousin. The recommendation was for paneer laabdar, chicken tandoori as a starter, that was ideal for us with a naan. We also had saag and daal makhani with a garlic naan and then the mutton biryani. The portions were enough to share and so different from the poor copies we had in England in our trip. Everything was freshly, delicious and the service efficient even though the restaurant filled quickly but we were severed like royals by the hosts themselves, we loved how caring they were and was ready for the extra 100 mile attitude. Now we are ready to recommend and will return for sure.
Gurpreet Singh

Little away from the main southall, 3 bus stops from mandir but Over all Roti is very delicious here. we had to wait for a table since we didn’t book but was worth it, that is because fresh food is served in the restaurant. Food and service both were great for us.
At the end of the meal, two bowls of the aftermeal mouth fresheners, fennel seeds (saunf with sakkar) was given on the table. Dining at Raunka was excellent with sumptuous dishes.
which was a perfect top up to the lovely food. Completely satisfied & happy.

As its pretty much clear from the name Raunka Punjab that it belongs to life of Punjab, all the things which you might have seen in a village you can see here, like Charkha, Ghadda, Manje, Fulkari, water Well, pippey, piddi, pakhi & many such things. It is basically a beautifully decorated restaurant and the great place to bring guests. They served us well, fresh and tasteful food. We loved the saag with makki the roti. Chana with bhatura. What a great little restaurant with amazing fresh food and specialities like best daal makhani in London, plus an incredibly friendly host who always makes you feel so welcome and the restaurant makes me feel nostalgic each time we come here.Food is like you eat at home with less oil and salt It’s family treat place and we have a couple of fussy eaters who I’d never have guessed would have opted for Indian as a treat. But if its raunka it is a complete package with entertainment. Highly recommended.

We came from spain with many others recently and had dinner at this gorgeous place The whole experience was great. Restaurant has a back drop of Punjabi village theme, Staff is attentive, helpful and polite in glittery jackets. Orders were taken quick and manager kept checking with us to ensure everything is ok and if we were enjoying the experience. Food was well prepared, took its time but well worth the wait. We will Definitely come back. Best dishes to order were papdi chaat, samosas, paneer labadar, butter chicken, lamb roganjosh, malai kofta and best daal makhani ever. Thums up from spain

We booked Raunka 2 weeks in advance and pre order are venison. The food was fresh & delightful, great to see deer meet on the menu, honestly it was first class, really tasty and tender. Venison cooked right is so good and this was just perfect. The host and service matched the class considering they cook fresh,
Tip. do let them know about your personal spice level for a perfect taste as they use less oil and salt. 10/10

Went as a part of a large group from Punjab. Amazing place with amazing punjabi menu with beautiful dishes and unique names. We also had some recommendations by the manager other than are set meal and while tasting the dishes we were wishing with every mouthful that the dish wouldn't end. Which we cherished deeply since we were longing for nice Indian food in london for the past 4 days and it came at the right time for us. In fact it was one of the best meals of a whole tour which was agreed by the whole group, They looked after us so well that we requested another meal there to are tour operators. The R.P.D team seams one big family who were dedicated to making our experience memorable. The restaurants guys working there were just flawless and so pleasant. We had a lovely time.

Good place to take your guests for dinner, pure Punjabi food. Nice place to go too if you like north Indian Punjabi food, good ambience, food and service. The food quality is fresh but took its time to come out. So allow little extra time but still the best Indian Punjabi food in town. Entertainment was good and so was the music. Recommended dishes daal makhani, saag, and lamb roganjosh with larcha prantha’s, in dessert Rasmalai and kulfi.

The price was reasonable for the food served. we will visit again. A great place to eat out and then dance on some lovely punjabi numbers. best punjabi restaurant in southall.

Taste of the food is good and prices are reasonable. Booking is advised as its small so gets busy. No alcohol is served here so BYOB even better, Service is good and friendly recommended dishes are Kali Dal makhani, lamb roganjosh and saag along with Amritsari kulcha and makki di roti. Recommened.

Food was not up to that level, as it has been promoted.tandoori roti was half cooked. We travelled from Romford to Southall hearing about the restaurant and came back disappointed. The karahi paneer was ok. Will not recommend this place.
