China Hall is the place to go if you want delicious, good value Chinese takeaway food ... and they deliver. π
The staff are always polite, entirely welcoming and you see into the kitchen as the chefs cook your food. As with most Chinese takeaways, they ask that you pay in cash - there's a Lloyds cashpoint just across the road at the junction or two others about 70 yards further at Co-op and CBS. An excellent affordable takeaway where you're treated with exemplary manners and delicious food. π€
I have been going to China hall for the past 8 years and I have not found a better service and the food is always lovely. On occasion if mistakes have been made (we are all human) and when notified they have gone above and beyond to correct. All in all a well deserved 5 π
Best Chinese takeaway in the area. Food is very good each time I order. My advice is to order in advance to have the food ready for your preferred collection/delivery time because they are very busy.
So pleased to have moved to a new area and found not only a good takeaway but the best Chinese Iβve ever been to - anywhere!
I always order the same things but the flavour every time is amazing and all cooked very well. (So much sauce on the chicken satay skewers which I love - very often too dry in other places!)
The staff are also ALL so lovely and friendly too every single time I go in, especially both ladies.
I have been many times now and yet to have one bad experience - thank you! :)

As someone who works all over the uk I get my fair share of takeaway food. Iβve had two meals from China hall over the last 2/3 weeks and I can honestly say this Chinese takeaway is up there with some of the best Chinese takeaway food Iβve had anywhere. Both my meals have been exceptional and I would highly recommend.
Good place, the people in there all seem to get along together and the food that I've had from here I really enjoyed. Ideal when I'm too tired to cook or the stupid local pub is giving it the 'we stop at 8 thirty' eyewash.
Give people what they want and they'll happily pay for it

Tried China Hall after turning my back on Southam Kitchen (opposite) due to appallingly bad service from the jumped-up wench behind their counter. π
China Hall couldn't be more different in terms of service. They're efficient, polite and always greet you with a welcoming smile. The food's great, too ! π€
Looking back, I have no idea why I ever went to China Hall's competition across the road. The difference in service is like chalk and cheese. βοΈπ§

Went there last night to order take away, it was packed with people, and with a good reason. We just ordered 3 boxes of fried rice & noodle, the staff handled our order with care and courtesy. From the waiting area, I could see partially the kitchen and the kitchen staff who were preparing food in a rapid pace in an orderly fashion. They were with hats and in some kind of uniform. The size of the aluminum foil box is smaller than what I am used to in Calgary, Canada but nonetheless filling enough for us 4 adults. The food was made to order and was tasty. The order area and waiting area of this place is well lit and cleaned well. I recommend it to others.
We ordered a delivery to.... a canal boat. Thought this would be an issue but no problem. Food delivered quite quickly and we were not disappointed.

Chinese was delivered to us as we were moored up on the canal by the folly inn . I must say it was the best Chinese takeaway we have ever had beef curry with rice , chicken chow mein, and spring rolls were all delicious thank u π
