Duke Of Wellington - Southampton - Photo album

I just happened to be in Southampton for the evening for a overnight and a cruise the next day. This is a quaint old pub in Southampton that we tried. We enjoyed the fish and chips, and a sampling of the fine beers offered here. The service was excellent and the staff very friendly. I highly reco
We had a lovely time at this pub near the port. We arrived a bit too early for food, but we’re happy to have a drink before the kitchen was open. The staff were friendly and attentive and it was the perfect place to get over our jet leg.
Best fish & chips. Tristan was great. Answered all our questions and told us all about different temperatures that beer is served at and why. Good variety of beers AND cider.

Fantastic experience. Tristan was fantastic! Food was top notch, had the fish and chips, and batter was one of the best I’ve had!
Great pub with most delicious lamb pie ever! The service was excellent and friendly. Also, there was an incredible, live band tonight!
What’s there not too like? Atmosphere, staff and food are incredible! They have been known to adapt the menu (although I’ve been told not to say) to suit our requirements. Great gluten free menu too. I’ve hired the function room and from start to finish the process was hassle free. This pub is a gem
Thank you for your welcome and hospitality to 7 weary Pilgrims having completed the St James Way Camino Ingles from Reading to Southampton, and the last stretch walking from Winchester. I’d wholeheartedly recommend the Duke of Wellington; the staff are attentive and lovely, the food is excellent and
