I've been a regular at the Gordon's Arms for many years and have always enjoyed the warm and welcoming atmosphere of this classic pub. The staff have always been friendly and attentive, and I've had many great memories here with friends and family.
However, during my recent visit, I encountered a new European bartender with dyed hair who was less than friendly. In fact, his attitude was downright condescending and rude, and he spoke to customers in a way that was unprofessional and disrespectful.
While this experience was disappointing, I still have a lot of love for the Gordon's Arms and the great times I've had here. I hope that management takes this feedback into consideration and addresses any concerns with their staff, as I would hate to see such a great pub lose its charm.

True British pub. None of this Wine Bar stuff. A good pint and good atmosphere.
Only top tier pubs play Nickelback — absolutely class.

Best pub I've been to in the area. Look after their beer, charge very very sensible prices, not sure I've ever been so pleased with a pint at such a luxury of having been well looked after and a low price. Beer selections to seem to rotate a little bit, although Doombar is always available. Very wide selection of lagers and ciders available on draught as well. 5 televisions (4 big ones and one little one) showing two different sporting events simultaneously. Great for watching the Champions League on a midweek evening. Very friendly staff and the landlord is a great guy who takes his pub seriously.

This establishment is a feast for the senses, with great beverages, fantastic coverage of sport and excellent, I mean EXCELLENT, service. One barmaid who goes by the name Amy, really topped off my night. Making me feel beautiful and cherished as a customer of this local watering hole. Amazing prices on drinks and majestic service, can’t say much else!
This is more of a student pub than anything else but there are several non student locals that use it. It seems friendly and based on my experience it is almost as cheap as a wetherspoons. Recommended!
A nice pub with large TV screens showing football. And it sells right Guinness!
