New owners . Pub has been refurbished. Food good but really missing the pensioner set meals. Had an amazing night last week with live Music from Delvis. The place was rocking . Hopefully they will do more music events as West End need a buzzing place to go
Great Pub Stopover, very welcoming and friendly landlord. Was not doing food, as his chef was recovering from an operation. played pool, had a few drinks. would highly recommend. We had EHU, great for us. Would definitely return. Thanks.
Having heard of this place being under new management ,I Booked this place for my sons 21st birthday October 17th 2023 ,with them providing full drinks/buffet/cake/dj/karoke. I have to say never having never been here before the atmosphere was fantastic for a Tuesday night. The staff were both welc
We held my dad's wake here on 7th July. There was plenty of food and room. The atmosphere was nice too. Very reasonably priced. Will definitely go back another day for a meal.
Not all carveries are equal, some being stingy on the meat and cutting costs by using frozen vegetables. I'm pleased to say that The Master Builder isn't one of those and we really enjoyed our meals. There was a good choice of vegetables, the meat was nicely cooked and as important as anything else,
Excellent value for money. Friendly staff, who remember you and spark up a conversation. Always willing to help and accommodate where they can with your food choices. The staff always make a fuss over our dog too. A genuine, nice, casual atmosphere with a choice of bar area or restaurant area dinnin

Held my dad's wake at the master builder April 24th.. Was a sad day but once we got to the pub we all relaxed, the food was already laid out & we had plenty of room. Great selection of food & a really good price.. Highly recommend. Have since had a great carvery on a Sunday, also lovely, great cho
The food was fine by one regret is that the roast potatoes are not roasted but I think deep fried this could be your letdown thank you
Dropped into the Master Builder for a Sunday dinner. The food was hot and you help yourself so have as much as you want and there was lots of it. It was very reasonable priced very tasty and I would recommend this pub to anyone
Excellent food, welcoming patrons, fantastic service from the beautiful waitress (dark hair, oriental looks) only thing that lets this lovely pub down is the rude bull of a landlord! And we're a younger couple who have been in the pub game years! The landlord comes across as a vile, confrontational
Went here today with 1 of my sisters, we had a lovely meal , its a friendly place, great atmosphere, clean , will definitely be going back..
Went there for a private function. The staff were amazing 5* to them 👏
Really enjoyable trip to this pub after a day at the Ageas Bowl. Excellent beer, friendly service and nice outside seating options. The food was also generously portioned and tasted great. I had cajun chicken breast with wedges and side salad, my companion had surf and turf.
