We fancied some good homemade pub food and we were not disappointed. Often pubs have homecooked on the menu but homemade is harder to find. There was a good selection of specials on the board on top of a pleasing selection of staple pub classics in the menu. The food was very good, piping hot and th

Visited tonight for drinks which turned into dinner… service and food is lovely. Proper home cooked food and staff are great. Ordered a chicken pie and a bacon burger. I asked for burger to be done a little more after it came out (not chefs fault at all - my fault for being fussy!!) and to our surp
Lovely experience every time we go. Food portions are spectacular for their prices. Staff are really friendly. The atmosphere in the pub is nice. And child friendly. Definitely recommend. Pies are lovely and the sandwiches are massive!
Lovely pub with friendly staff. Food portions are massive and are great value for money. I had the fish fingers wrap with a side of some of the most amazing chips I've had. My partner had the cajun chicken which was flavourful and cooked perfectly. However I just wished they grilled my wrap as it wa

A beautiful old pub with lots of original features, the building and grounds and lovely. Staff are friendly and very good at their job. The choice of food is small but very well done, I've never had a bad meal here and whenever I'm in the area a visit to the old ship is always a treat. Highly recomm

It is absolutely one of my favourite places to eat. Small cosy restaurant/bar, is always a lovely atmosphere. The food has always been great.
Food and decor was really nice, we really enjoyed ourselves but a little bit over priced. Location fantastic right next the the river so good end to a nice paddle boarding afternoon.
We had booked the back of the restaurant out for all our family to come and have. A meal for my sons 10th birthday.
