We fancied some good homemade pub food and we were not disappointed. Often pubs have homecooked on the menu but homemade is harder to find. There was a good selection of specials on the board on top of a pleasing selection of staple pub classics in the menu.

A beautiful old pub with lots of original features, the building and grounds and lovely. Staff are friendly and very good at their job. The choice of food is small but very well done, I've never had a bad meal here and whenever I'm in the area a visit to the old ship is always a treat. Highly recomm
