Excellent pub with good food and friendly staff, who put up with our rather loud group with great good humour!
The food here is absolutely brilliant I take my hat off to the chef. You best give him a raise as I wouldn't be surprised if someone took him off your hands.
I was visiting Southampton for five days. It was the first place I had dinner, and it was so good I went back for dinner on my last night in town. The fish and chips were amazing. My husband said his burger was awesome. My daughter loved the halloumi salad. The atmosphere is great - there was music but it wasn't too loud and there was sports on the TVs.

The Katsu chicken burger, fries and onion rings was my choice and it was very tasty.
I hadn’t had this before but I’m glad I did and recommend it for the slightly spicy flavour. It’s not too spicy but it’s a good amount of heat.
The venue is good for meals and plenty of seating, tv’s for sports and all you’d expect from a Greene King pub. Good service and staff at this visit were attentive.
Came with friends for F1 and breakfast wasn’t disappointed with either. There was several tables of F1 fans in as well as the manager so we had the sound on at a great level (normally just get the images) when football is also on. Didn’t eat but saw several others eat and the roasts looked great.
Alright, tables are often dirty and the pinot grigio tastes like it has usually been open for a day or two, but good atmosphere and nice staff, nicer than a Whetherspoons and great place to watch sports - if you're in Southampton and you want a relaxed meal, this place is spot on
Absolutely fantastic, manager Dylan was wonderful when we had a minor issue. Lovely environment, great food, and considering its a city centre pub a very generous 2 for 1 offer.
My daughter and I got a table straight away which is good going in Southampton City Centre! We both ordered the beef sirloin roast dinner. It was absolutely delicious, you could tell the sirloin was seasoned and cooked properly and the cauliflower cheese was the best I have had, even the orange juice and lemonade was spot on. Will definitely be back 😀
Went to the recent Marvel Vs DC pub quiz and the young man hosting it was a delight. So polite and the rest of the staff were great. Stan Lee for the win!
