The Anchor Inn - Southampton - Photo album

Lovely location. Atmosphere was a bit hectic but it was a Saturday evening. Service was spot on. Food choices not extensive. Says tradition pub grub but only about 4 things of that. Rest was pizza and pasta. I did have catch of the day and chips and it was *chefs kiss” beautiful.
Great service and good food. The atmosphere was warm and the locals were super friendly. More importantly, DOG SUPER FRIENDLY!
What a lovely evening for our work do. Kirsty, Julia, the chef and their team couldn’t have been more accommodating or welcoming. The pizzas are amazing. Chilli oil too! The service was impeccable and the atmosphere warm and friendly. We will definitely return! Thank you.
Myself and my friend had evening dinner at the anchor Inn and it was delicious. The menu has lots to choose from, which was very hard as it all sounds very tasty. I would highly recommend that you should pop for in for a drink and meal. Luke was very accommodating and served us promptly and was very
Good food, good location for a beer on the waterfront with the sun shining and the domes make it unique, theyre perfect for a more private experience. Local live bands play on a Sunday afternoon which adds to the fun. Dog friendly.
Amazing roast, great veg selection. Beef fell apart and was fab. Thoroughly recommend.
A busy Sunday lunchtime, but they managed to squeeze us in and even accommodated us going outside and then back in again! Our pizza (duck and hoisin) was fantastic and we were really pleased that we decided to pop in on the off chance. Highly recommended.
Lovely pub with great atmosphere and service. We had lunch in one of domes by the water front and it was lovely. Food was delicious, the portion sizes for adults and kid's meals were plenty. The staff were great and welcoming, we'll definitely be going back.
Excellent veggie pizza. Personally I do wish there were more vegan dishes. Lovely intimate atmosphere, good service.
Nice lay out of pub.lovely view if the water/ boats .clean loos but not many of them .nice sound of choice of daily meals but didn't get chance to try this time ...needs menus scattered around .dog friendly & good outside area too with cover x
I came with family just when the doors opened at 11am. We took hot chocolates and coffees. All the tables were reserved for the afternoon event. Wished we could have stayed. The decor seemed very cosy and staff was friendly. Especially since my mum forgot her handbag. They kindly kept it for us.
Popped in for lunch and had a really lovely meal. Pizzas were great, and fish and chips was amazing. Really friendly staff and very cosy atmosphere.
Hospitable, harbour side pub. Staff couldn't have been more helpful. Food excellent with good choice and large portions. U will definitely be returning
Great food really nice land lady very impressed by the quality of service will go back very soon
Our regular end of walk watering hole. Park in the cemetery car park, complete the board walk and sit with a drink and admire the view. An out of the way pub that can be very lively. Perfect on a hot summets day.
Lovely food, big portions, great price. You must try the onion rings.
