Just what the area needed. Lovely selection of beers and cocktails, the staff were lovely and the place just has an amazing vibe about it! Particularly like the outdoor area - plenty of room and perfect for the sun! Will be back :)
Had a couple of drinks at Verde last night. There was a great atmosphere, with a live singer and plenty of people inside and outside. There was a good selection of drinks at the bar. I will definitely being heading back there soon to sample the food and maybe a cocktail in happy hour!
100% be returning again! The food was incredible, can’t believe how much vegan choice they had too! Definitely won’t be the designated driver next time as the cocktails looked amazing

Update: the alcohol seems to have disappeared in the cocktails. All the cocktails were just too sweet!
Lovely little bar, gorgeous outside area and decorated bar inside. Reasonable prices, wonderful staff. The perfect place to spend an evening relaxing. They have bar games and lots of choices for cocktails and mixed drinks. Everything is spotlessly clean and the loos are wonderful. I'm looking forward to coming back through the summer! I would absolutely recommend Rio's!!
This is a bar that has a homely comforting charm. There are blankets to take outside for that cosy feel. The staff are so welcoming. Our first visit but we will be back!

Each and every time I have visited Rio's the staff have made me feel rwalky welcomed, I pay a close attention to details - clean glasses, fresh fruits, complementary snacks! I couldn't ask for more. Best place in Southampton!
Recently moved to Shirely and have been looking for a new bar and this is exceptional. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. Drinks were lovely and good value. Outside area is amazing you forget you are on the high street. There was a fun game outside being run amongst other things. Will be coming as a regular now my partner and I have found this place.
Tasty food platter, 2 for 1 cocktails (depending when you are there). Friendly staff.
