Absolutely love it, so much more affordable compared to most coffee shops, friendly staff, it’s clean, amazing food and drinks. They offer newspapers, books, free compost and free dog treats. Pet friendly, my dog loves getting a pup cup each time we’re there. Definitely coming back

Really gorgeous, cozy place. I usually don't like going to big franchise-based coffee places so I'm glad I found this lovely little spot in Portswood. Amazing coffee (I got a hot mocha) + their regular sized coffee comes in a massive cup haha - talk about value for money! It's a really nice place and the staff are so sweet and pleasant too! Definitely try the almond croissant - so flaky and buttery! Give it a shot, 100%!

Coffee #1 is my favourite coffee shop chain. Their staff are always well trained, expedient,helpful and friendly. The range of hot and cold drinks is ideal and food ain't too bad either. I also find that there is a reasonable ambience in the shops that I have visited.

I ordered a croissant and a hot chocolate. With the hot chocolate you could get an option of sprinkles which I decided not to get. The hot chocolate was nothing special, I've had better before but it was still very good and the art on it was nice. The croissant was a disappointment, I've been to quite a few cafes and haven't found one that was fresh/not left out in the open. It seemed to be left out in a basket with plastic wrap. The croissant itself was quite dry but retained a bit of moisture in the middle. But it was edible and nice for a snack. The atmosphere of the cafe is amazing I love the walls and furniture it creates a very cozy aura. One thing I'd have to say is that the tray my food came on was really dirty, it would have been better if they gave me a clean one, it doesn't seem hygienic. Would I come back again? Probably.
