Great service, friendly staff and the food is great �. I have never been disappointed and would happily recommend.
Only just started using Lucky 8, didn't know it existed until I was driving past recently. Had a couple of Chinese takeaways from here and the quality of food is excellent. The place is very clean, staff very polite and friendly and you have full view of the kitchen so can see your food being cooked and prepared. I phone my order through for collection so that by the time I get there (just a few minutes drive) it is almost ready for me. I'll definitely be back frequently! :-)

Always been perfect for me, Chinese or fish & chips. It was such a pleasant surprise when I first tried this place as I'm normally suspicious of anywhere that does 2 different types of takeaways, coz I assume it affects the quality, but both are always prompt and delicious. I've had Chinese & fish & chips from here about 10 times each over the last year! Just be aware it's collection only. I highly recommend, especially the salt & pepper chicken wings.
Had a really bad experience a couple of years ago but since trying again it seems that they have stepped up there game and have improved dramatically. Lovely little place love the fish and chips and the Chinese. Staff seemed friendly. Would highly recommend
staying in the premier inn around the corner during lockdown 2 and everywhere is shut. I got a fish n chips from here and it was excellent, it was the best fish n chip I have had in years. If you're in the area give it a go.
Always really good for both the fish shop and the chinese. They taylor your food to how you like it if you ask. You can tell the oil is changed regularly. Nice happy and polite staff. Great to have as a local :)
Excellent Chinese and fish-and-chips, with friendly, helpful staff. The fact that most customers are regulars tells you everything. Ignore the fake 1 star reviews and give it a go - you won’t regret it!
