New owners now. 13/03/24 - Sadly I did not think as good as previous owners. Fish batter not as golden and fish portion small. Chips were not hot and could have been crisper. Pea fritter was a lot smaller and not warm. Had to reheat chips and pea fritter. A little disappointed 😞. Time will tell i

Had fish and chips from here today. Good portion size, light batter, and lovely fish. Tasty Plaice won’t be used again, has really gone downhill after the old proprietor left. Well Done Ocean Blue! 👏

I honestly think this is consistently the best fish and chips I’ve ever eaten. The chips are good but the fish is so well cooked, it’s perfect. They cook everything to order so you get time to buy a bottle of wine from next door too.

Just got food for four from ocean blue and we all agreed it was top notch! Having travelled round the country, I’m a bit picky about chippys - so really happy to have tried this one. Batter - excellent. Thin, crispy without being brittle. Fish - fresh, not mushy, cooked perfectly. Served with lemo
