Was fairly quiet on a late Saturday morning which I enjoyed. I try to avoid busy places 🙈.
Food was absolutely delicious, very hot and freshly cooked, very generous portion for a brilliant price! Didn't wait long before it was infront of us 😋 will definitely not be so greedy next time 😂 Only one thing for me but it is personal preference so definitely doesn't change my rating, but its thick bacon.
Definitely going back soon to try Jeff's famous Lasagna and many more things 😉.
So many options and I love the light bites board, I found that rather interesting ☺️.
Safe to say I found my new favourite café/restaurant 🥰

Brilliant little traditional cafe, Staff we're lovely and so was the food, especially the bubble and Squeak, it's not your average high street food, it's more home cooked style

Visited this place with my mum, we both had a roast and a cup of tea, we wouldve had a pudding aswell but were so full after our roast dinner we couldnt fit one in! Amazing value for money , great portion size and a really tasty dinner, we will definately be back soon! , friendly helpful staff, good atmosphere, we loved it, thankyou, see you again! 😊

If you want well cooked,good portion size and very reasonably priced food this is the place to go in Shirley.
Place was taken over 18 months ago by chef Jeff. The decor is simple but if food is more important than wall colour then this is the place to go. Staff were efficient, friendly and the waitress spent any spare minute she had cleaning tables.
Impressed me, can't wait to go back to start working my way through the menu!!!! Tip to owner Jeff. Get a board/sign up on the corner of George Street so people can find you.
