The cashier speaks fluent English and Cantonese. Extremely friendly. Fish and chips are fresh and tasty. Will certainly come back for more.
Having tried a number of the chip shops in Southampton over the last 10 years, I keep returning to this one. In that time the quality has remained high, whilst the vaunted portion sizes of other local places has just disappointed and shrunk over time.
Friendly service when you pop in, just remember that it's cash only :-)
This place is a real hidden gem. I won't lie, it looks like a bit of a dive, but the food is great, and the people are friendly. I'm not sure how much more you could ask for in a chippy. Also, I saw someone else mention that they don't speak English very well, but all of the staff speak perfect English that I have encountered.
Great local fish and chip shop, owner is very friendly. All chips are fried fresh and curry sauce is homemade.
